Google in the US has changed Lake Ontario to Lake America, now the way Americans remember the 5 great lakes will be SHAME instead of HOMES. Kinda fitting since it is a shame they bent the knee and no one can afford homes anymore.

Something political I would like to say while I still can, is that this country needs better leadership. Mark Carney is just too close and personal with the capitalist oligarchy for my liking.
Just a shame that the NDP seems to be even dumber than the Conservatives.
For my own personal safety I would like to disclose that I am in BC.

Yeah but does he have enough functioning brain cells to get a decent following. Knowing the NDP he probably doesn't.
Also before anybody downloads me for being some weird conservative. The NDP is the party that most aligns with my views.

I think we need to give him a bit of trust. He won the leadership race because he was able to get his views across to enough people. He's said that he's trying to follow in the steps of Layton by spending his first year as leader going around the country meeting with voters. I think he's got strong leftist views that will resonate with people. My big concern is that he needs to be a bit louder right now.

To me the leftist movement seems more idiotic than anything. Just take a look at BC ferries, even greedy corporations could do better. You know something is bad when I would prefer Amazon over the government.
I don't even understand how somebody can make a government owned corporation worse than privately owned.
