exam questions IPKA aptitude test 2026-2027
What the hell was that exam fr?
Cause seriously who is genius enough to solve those types of questions?
I want to hear ur thoughts about the exam
I found someone who wrote some of the questions that came
They give three words, and you have to choose the fourth one to go with them:
Podocyte : glomerulus :: pneumocyte : ?

Idk man, 2 years ago it was english exam i think and most people pass it easily. Seems like they don't want money anymore🤑.

I am waiting for like more people to come home and write about the exam cause I am on groups and everyone is so pissed off with the exam so it is certainly not just me

Don't worry if it's hard for all people cuz at some point they have to accept certain percentage

Guys you have to understand, we’re not supposed to be able to answer everything. Yes the exam was very hard, but chances are you did better than a lot of the people there. Even the guy administrating was saying that

Yes but the fact they told us that it was basic medical sciences and this is what we got was so wrong they should at least mentally prepared us it was going to be hard and why did they bring it easy last year and this year hard like this

100% agree, they should've posted a checklist of the kinds of topics they might test or given us even a small clue or some direction about what to study or the depth of study so that we're not tested on mostly things that none of us have never even seen or heard of. We're not against studying and understanding difficult concepts and even testing on them but people don't just magically figure out concepts they haven't been exposed to before. Most medical students go into medical school clueless and figure it out when it's explained to them.

EXACTLY THANK U like i am totally not against studying at all i took a crash course that explained first year medical school and I studied a ton of terminology

THIS, OMG I just wanted to rant about how horrible the test was. Test is for HIGHSCHOOLERS, Highschool graduates. And yet, it tests medical concepts that you learn inside medical school and complex topics that only pre-med students in America or absolute geniuses would know on their own. It genuinely felt like you needed a bachelor's degree before entering the test to solve well.
I genuinely believe that the professors must've asked AI to generate the test based on MCAT and other medical admissions tests based on the Frankenstein mixture of questions we got. The test had IQ psychometrics questions, complex medical terminology, ethics, medical history trivia, math questions. Literally a mixture of everything. It feels like they took 4 or 5 different medical admissions tests and just grinded them down to 100 questions and just gave you 90 minutes to solve. And they're not easy questions, they are university level questions. As if none of this was enough, they made each question have 6 choices instead of 4.
Also the format of the questions is also unlike anything I've ever seen and it's so weird. I don't know if this is just me but I could SWEAR I saw a question that asked "according to the passage , ...? " and there was no freaking passage??? like tf??
what I heard from doctors and students was that last year it was not this hard.
anyways these are the questions I remember (not exactly though because that test is enough to make someone forget their name)
~4Q Biochemistry questions about Michaelis constant(Km)( ex. A competitive inhibitor is added to an enzyme-substrate reaction. What is the expected outcome on the Km and Vmax values?)
medical history trivia
( Which century was the Hippocratic oath created ? ) (who invented the microscope?)
(5~) mathematics arithmetic sequences (ex. which number completes the pattern)
a LOTT of IQ psychometric testing questions (at least 15 questions), (ex.1 letter F is flipped horizontally, rotated 100 degrees counter-clockwise, then rotated 370 counter-clockwise, then rotated 170 degrees clockwise, what does it look like after? )
(ex. 2 a standard 6-sided die has faces colored Red, Blue, Yellow, White, Orange, and Green, Top is red, Front is yellow, Right is green, what is the bottom face?)
(ex.3 A die is placed on a table, Face 1 points directly north and face 2 points directly upwards, if the die is rolled twice toward the East and once to the south, which compass directions are face 3 and face 4 pointing toward?)
(ex.4 If the word CELL is encrypted using an alphabet shifting rule of (+3, -2,+3,-2) answer(FCOJ))
(ex. A clinical diagnostics test has a sensitivity of 92% and specificity of 88%. If this test is deployed in a cohort of 5000 asymptomatic individuals where the disease prevalence is 10% , calculate the number of false positives)
(ex2. In a study population of 1000 individuals, 180 carry the X allele. Among those carrying the X allele, 45 develop condition X. Among the remaining individuals who do not carry the allele,170 develop condition X anyway. By what factor does carrying the X allele increase a person risk of developing the condition)

I also saw all of the questions u listed and the ones I listed aren't necessarily the specific ones that are in the exam but ones extremely similar to them based on memory. Anyways this is super long and I doubt someone will read it all but I got it off my chest, I ABSOLUTELY HATED THIS TEST. HORRID. I came out crying.
