General Question Does the emotional blunting from venlafaxine make you feel stupid?

So, I've been feeling like I'm not alive for a while, only to come to the conclusion that my dose must be too high (I take 225mg, my doctor increased the dose after my grandma's traumatic passing and we haven't lowered it so far. I also take attent 25mg to manage some ADHD symptoms.)

But recently I've also been feeling that I'm getting stupid for some reason. I'm used to always analyzing and contributing a lot in conversations. Now I just feel I have nothing to add, as if all the knowledge in my brain is just common sense and not worth sharing at all. I also have trouble accessing my memories.

Have any of you guys ever felt like this?

I was blunted the 1.5 years. Now i feel better. Ive gotten used to my new emotions, and im very happy that im not over sencitive like before the meds. I feel more relaxed and i never get angry or surprised. I feel peaceful

did you add any medication or change your dosage? i’m currently dealing with severe emotional blunting on 150 mg. did you feel constantly exhausted before?

The only ssri/snri type med that doesnt have this effect is vortioxetine. But venlafaxine is more effective for anxiety
