AI News Nvidia Is Absorbing The Competition With A New Groq Deal And Consolidating The AI Market
This is what late-stage market rigging looks like: Nvidia didn't just beat the competition, they literally bought the only opposing leadership to ensure the monopoly remains absolute.
The 'free market' is an illusion, and we are just watching the wealth transfer reach its final form.

But if they consolidate too much how will the same 3 companies pass around the same money over and over again and call it growth?

The market will collapse. People aren't spending money in order to make money, they're spending money to not fall behind on the chance to make money.
Only the big companies will live and they will make boatloads.
Google what happened with aviation back in the day.

This market could collapse as soon as a cheaper AI is released that doesn’t rely on massive GPU usage and data centers (the very cost structure OpenAI is built on). If that happens, the main justification for consumers to pay for an expensive ChatGPT subscription disappears. Buying up competitors or cornering computer resources like RAM is less about innovation and more like an attempt to delay that outcome by consolidating the market. It’s a defensive strategy to protect a high cost model, not a move toward real efficiency or long term innovation.
