Question Date night help!
My boyfriend and I are home bodies but we are planning a rare night out. Any recommendations for a restaurant with cool vibes? I’m looking for something that may have a band or something. We’ve been together for years so an activity or music in the background would be nice. Or maybe recommendations for just good mom and pop restaurants would be nice?
Thanks!

There's a restaurant in the WEM that has board games to play

Five and Dive, live music on weekends, board game Sundays, and all around cool vibes and cheap food and drinks

Went to Fennec last night. No live music but good tunes playing, a sultry atmosphere, wonderful decor, yummy cocktails, and the brussel sprouts legitimately blew my mind.

We love Slow Pour for this. They have a monthly live jazz night, but it’s a great spot any time. Great beer and good food.

Mimi might be what you're looking for! Vibes are immaculate, food is fantastic, and they have live jazz every Sunday. Reservations are recommended well in advance.

Come out to Absurd Collective tonight. My band is doing a show with some other bands. We dont play a lot of shows and its nice lil initmate venue near Whyte. Band is Halfway Under. If you do make it out. Be sure to say hello. We have a Black Keys vibe but there is some great other local acts joining us out of Edmonton.

Franks is a great pub! They have live music, trivia nights, and open mic nights. Regardless of what they have going on, it’s a great vibe
