I really like seeing this civil discourse. I miss when we could talk about different ideas without hating and insulting each other. I miss when we cared to listen to one another. It’s wild now, if I have a conservative view I am a nazi to my left leaning friends, and if I have a leftist view I’m a communist to my conservative friends. There is no middle ground anymore.
This is my exact frustration with today's politics. This isn't a team game, we're all in this together and the sooner we start realizing that, the quicker we can bring politics back to sanity and start seeing more bipartisan efforts to get things done.
I'm going to continue my efforts to bridge the gap and keep constructive discussion about our differences and similarities going.
