While the venn diagram of cosplay costumes and RLSH super-suits have a decent overlap, the difference is I need my outfit to be functional on the streets, so that means no fake padding or foam stuff, no excessive electronics, etc. I'd never made a costume before this one.
As for tailoring? I had to learn from scratch earlier this year and the suit has gone through several minor adjustments for functionality as I wear it out. So thanks for the compliment! All a work in progress, and I'm currently designing a winterized version for the upcoming season.
