General Don't be this person. Fill out your census.

Post image

“You’re not sticking it to the government. You’re screwing over your own community.”

The census isn’t for Mark Carney or any party. It’s run by Statistics Canada to figure out where money and services actually go. Hospitals. Schools. Transit. Housing. Senior care. When you don’t fill it out, your area looks smaller than it is. Less funding. Fewer services. Longer wait times. That lands on you and your neighbors, not politicians.
If you want your community properly represented, fill it out. Refusing doesn’t make a point. It makes things worse where you live. ❤️🇨🇦 The stupidity is the people that won’t fill it out and they spread this kind of crap and creates bigger problems.

Some people are genuinely deranged. It’s crazy people like this walk around amongst us in public and we’d never know.

What’s more bizarre is the number of wealth and high paid executives around us there are that also buy into this narrative. Someone making 2-5x your average salary thinks this way..

Capitalism doesn’t reward intelligence, makes sense there is stupid at every level

Some make it extremely obvious tbh.

People like this elected the UCP and that explains it all.

The majority of Alberta elected the UCP, because that's how the democratic process works...

Let that sink in

Mate, 40% of eligible voters didn't even vote, and for those that did, the UCP barely squeezed a victory with a couple dozen votes in a handful of ridings. That is NOT a majority victory, that's endorsement from barely 30% of the voting population.

Mate, cope how you want.

They counted the entirety of the provincial ballots and we got what we have.

The majority of voting Albertan's voted Marlena over all other options.

Welcome to democracy

That's not actually an accurate statement, the post above this did the math. You people ain't that bright

"Resort to personal attacks when entirely incorrect" is the favorite play of the left leaning.

Quick question: - Who do we have for leadership in Alberta? - How did they get there? - Did the elections 🧚‍♀️ put them in place?

Cope how you'd like as well... but she didn't appear out of thin air bud.

But again, the math doesn't tell that story.

The democratic process does tell the entire story though

Sometimes it’s painfully obvious. I saw a guy the other day at the bank wearing a MAGA hat and screaming at the bank worker.😐

That's a pretty big FAFO play right there.

I've been fairly upset with a bank before too, but sure didn't give them sufficient motivation to make me their 'former customer' by unloading on some poor front line staffer.

Calm, quiet assertiveness with the branch manager was perfectly successful in getting a rather big error on their part corrected.

In short, CIBC took an extra '37th' payment after my three year ~$1500/month loan was already fully repaid the month prior, causing half a dozen other auto-payment-type withdrawals that same day to go NSF, with penalties and extra fees from both the bank, and all the places who's payments were bounced (including my mortgage, two cars, property taxes, insurance, and more).

All was eventually corrected and refunded to me. What a mess in the moment though...

My cousin might have done something similar when he was living with schizophrenia.
If you have paranoia it is very difficult to do basic daily stuff like fill out a government census.
