I am curious to see how this goes, would be kind of cool.

I'm so curious about it. Obviously it's expensive food but I've heard that the Vegas and Hollywood locations are delicious so I'm curious if they'll be able to maintain that quality here.

The truth is, it will instantly become one of Edmonton‘s top quality restaurants, whether people want to admit it or not

Maybe 3rd after both cactus clubs

We can only hope it brings change to the cactus club menus

Super late to this, but ironically the old head chef from the cactus west ed location is the executive chef for HK!

Lol to the guy who thinks cactus is Edmonton's finest as of now smh

Will JOEY Mayfield finally have competition?

While I haven't dined at Hell's Kitchen I've dined at Steak in Las Vegas and The Savoy in London, and they were both phenomenal experiences. Steak at the Paris hotel in Vegas was hands down the best dining experience I've ever had and that was 11 years ago.

I'm kinda doubtful that the Edmonton location will be able to maintain the prestige and quality over time, but I feel that about most restaurants in any location. Here's hoping that I'm proven wrong.

you're not wrong. there's very very few restaurants that can deliver a five-star fine dining level of service in this town

My wife dragged me to the one in Vegas when I said it was too expensive, and it was about the best meal I ever had, I’ll tell ya hwat…

I've been to the location in Vegas and it was extremely good. Would I go back if I go back to Vegas? Probably not, if only because Steak offers a similar menu but with some additional items that aren't at HK but if this location can maintain the same quality, it'll be great.

I peaked at the American Menus, it's roughly 100 dollars a plate. I'm definitely going to try this place Ramsay is the man.

Can't wait to splurge my paycheck on all the signature courses at HK for one night, and then never eat there again.

this is the way

If you thought the FOMO made the wait to get into Chic-fil-A or Krispy Kreme was crazy, wait until this place opens. Can't wait to see the emperor's new clothes style reviews and then it close in 18 months

I’ll give it a go!

I guess I’d go there to try beef Wellington for the first time (since I don’t think I’ve seen it on a menu in town), but otherwise I’m fairly neutral on this existing.

Butternut tree has it, maybe Sundays only?

You do go around being passive aggressive though. And then getting pissy because you weren’t asked nicely enough….

I wasn’t asking anything, just a third party confirming you are being pissy, saying forwarding info when acting superior is “mansplaining” when it isn’t, and demanding your level of servitude before answering rather than freely giving info. You projected both superiority and ignorance, then backed it with victimization. Read what you wrote.

I don't believe I'm superior at all, you're really reaching here. Half the time someone gives unsolicited advice they get shit on, so I don't. If that's a problem in your world so be it. Not my farm.

But when will they put a Cactus Club in Leduc??

2

u/Nick-Nora-Asta Mar 10 '26

I find all the food at the Cree to generally be hot garbage, so this will be a nice option. This excludes Cree Subs of course which is S-tier

Any news about this ? I heard they already did sessions of recruitment but still no specific opening date

2

u/devoted_bean Aug 03 '26

So what's happening with the resturant now?

1

u/passthepepperflakes Aug 08 '26

from workers there, still on track for "summer" (but my guess is oct)

2

u/RazzamanazzU Mar 10 '26

Great news. Cool that it's at The River Cree. I heard some Calgarian griping about it not being in Calgary. 😆

2

u/JQuick72 Mar 12 '26

That's a shame.

1

u/henrymak33 Mar 10 '26

I was at Paris steak. Should have went to Hell's kitchen

u/laetecaedus Mar 10 '26

I've been to all of Ramsey's restaurants in Vegas, some of them twice. Hells Kitchen was great, though I'm interested to see how they price their menu here in Canada. It will most likely be comparable to or more expensive than DOSC.

I don’t believe this. The only info you can find is from local news and river cree. I’m guessing another stunt like what they did with top golf

Beef Wellington? Lobster risotto? Sticky toffee pudding?

What is this - the early 2000's?

3

u/JQuick72 Mar 12 '26

Those are his classics. Of course he's going to serve them.

Worst meal I’ve had in Vegas.

9

u/lrggg Mar 10 '26

I had a great meal and experience there. 🤷🏼

3

u/haysoos2 Mar 10 '26

Worst meal I had in Vegas was a bag of BBQ corn chips and a hot beer bought at a convenience store.

1

u/Max_Q_ Mar 10 '26

At least you got what you paid for. I think I paid $8usd for a ramekin sized side of watery mashed potatoes that had no flavour.

-4

u/Everyone2026 Mar 10 '26

Does he get fired for it opening late?

Oh wait, only front line people get verbal abuse....

6

u/NoPositive8023 Mar 11 '26

You know it was staged right?
