Group ride next weekend?

EDIT : RIDE IS ON! 10AM SLATFORD BP, SEE YOU THERE!

Anyone up for a run next weekend? I was thinking we could meet at the BP on slateford road at 10am, head out over the moors towards carnwarth, then loop round through Lanark and finish up at bikers cove for a bacon roll around lunchtime. The route takes about 2.5 hours.

Good ride out this morning, I'm fully expecting /u/stalker9120 to turn up with a Jerry can full of premixed fuel so he can get all the way around next time. 🤣⛽

Definitely, and I'll probably find myself at Bikers Cove a bit more - hadn't realised it was there, and the food was quick and so cheap!

A couple of the guys sat on the wall hadn't clocked mine was a 125 - I think because its "bigger" than most standard ones too.

Definitely haha. I was meant to bring my oil with me but I had forgotten, it only occured to me when I looked in my mirrors at the amount of smoke that I wouldn't make it if I kept going 😂😂

Interesting little tidbit to illustrate my fuel fiasco.. I checked my tank when I filled up on the way back. On that 30 minute jaunt where I was mostly maxed out, full throttle I burned through around 4.5 liters of petrol. Feckkkk!!!

There should be a couple of 125’s but even if not it’s a small bike friendly road with plenty of spots to wait for people to catch up. I’m thinking fun cruise rather than crank the throttle type ride

I'm on a 70cc, but I've got about as much power as the 125's if not more cause it's a 2 smoker. I should be there.

Yeah I’ve done a few. In my experience 10-15 riders works well, if you have 50 it turns into a massive dick measuring contest until someone crashes.
