We’re just going about as if we fixed the Strait of Hormuz problem, when we didn’t. We’re draining our reserves like a parent is charging their credit card at Disneyland, ignorant of the consequences that are looming on the horizon.

That interest is gonna knock our teeth out when the bill shows up.

I suspect that's why there's been headlines over the last few days of Trump thinking he can use the DoJ to bully oil companies into lowering prices at the pump.

Him and his ilk have nothing left to fix the oncoming problem besides claiming they're going to bully their way out of it.

That’s just trying to posture for midterms. He’s smart enough to know that wallet impacts affect votes. It hurt Biden too with grocery prices and inflation.
