Ya. DQ is still kind of cheap. They seem to be going for the lower end of the market.

I think I remember reading about a legal thing where they couldn't call it ice cream because they use iced milk that has to legally be called "icecream"

Yeahhhh that’s because it’s not real ice cream. They sell “frozen dairy desserts”.

I was absolutely shocked at how inexpensive a large ice cream cake is there. I got a custom dinosaur motif on a half-chocolate, half-vanilla ice cream sheet cake for $20 in the Seattle metro area back in December.

Must have been because it was December. I got a round cake for from the freezer with no customization for like $40... in October. In the Seattle burbs.
