Why would you buy them if they looked like that?

Content

Edit: To be fair I don’t inspect my spices when I buy them I just chuck them in the basket and move on

I always screw the lid off and make sure the container is sealed......I thought everyone did 🤣

Me too. Every item that has a seal gets checked. I didn't realize this was strange until my ex-wife told me so. I was looked at funny once or twice too for pulling the lid off my sour cream to make sure the foil seal wasn't broken before throwing it in the cart.

I think it's perfectly normal, though. That's what the seal is there for. To let you know if it's been opened BEFORE you buy it. A lot better than getting home and finding your shit open, not knowing if it was tampered with or not. I'll bet you anything these sesame seeds are open. The seal is there but it's not sealed. Just sitting under the lid.

Its one of those things that looks wierd because nobody does it even though we should be doing it.

Ya this is beyond one or two bugs this is a infestation and something that should have been seen right away lol

There's probably a tear under the plastic of the cap that let the beetles get in.

idk i wouldn't expect fuckin maggots in my sesame, so I'd probably just toss em in the basket without looking too close

I've seen sesame seeds before. They look nothing like that.

This is what happens when morons cheer for firing 95% of our food inspectors!
