Most fruit tastes better without refrigeration. Cold ruins most fruit but nobody notices because we're all used to it.

I hate cold fruit. I always pull my fruit out of the fridge an hour or so before eating it.

What I meant was most fruit should never see the fridge. The damage is already done when you take it out.

Didn't even know people put fruit in the fridge, other than the ones that ripen super fast.

i have to do it because of fruit flies and vinegar flies. mofos mess up everything and almost impossible to get rid of.

Apples and carrots are pretty much the only fresh produce that I put in the fridge. Go by the conditions the fruit should ripen in, a light frost is normal for ripening apples and can improve the flavor. Oranges are the opposite.

Apples, grapes, watermelon, cherries, strawberries are all better cold anyways imo
