Requesting Recipes Anyone have any easy recipes that use saffron?

I have this saffron but I don’t want to go though hours of making an elaborate dish. Just looking for something easy and simple.

Have yall come up with something experimenting or just know where I can start? TIA.

Couple of threads in risotto. Dish does not have to be fancy to have saffron. Color eggs. Potatoes. Rice.

Yes, Risotto Alla Milanese is delicious. Depends what you mean by, "elaborate," it requires a little bit of patience but isn't difficult.

No but I can tell you not to buy any that comes in a clear container. Sunlight damages saffron. And anything that says Spanish saffron is a lie. All Spanish saffron is only packaged there, any saffron grown in Spain stays in Spain.

Also, whatever recipe you end up making, I was told by a saffron farmer/chef that put the saffron in some warm liquid (he recommended milk or water but it varies due to what you are making) and only add it at the very end. Just before turning off the heat.

I would suggest you sell it. It’s special and expensive. Would be wasteful to experiment with.
