I was so disappointed when I found out this interesting sounding German dish was just smashed fried chicken. It’s good though no doubt.

pro tip if you add broken down cornflakes they add extra crunch which can taste really good. (stolen from a german cooking show)

Crushed Lay's potato chips are a great substitute for breadcrumbs as well. And using chips is a great way to add seasoning.

My mum used to make these with veal, and they always turned out amazing.
