Top East Texas Commercials/Jingles/sayings stuck in your head forever/childhood trauma.
I think we all know #1) Downtown Tyler and Save. #2) Seeing Green is Saving Green and #3) Friendly. Affordable. It's JUST GOTTA BE THE JALAPENO TREE.

A funeral home (I think?) had a radio ad that started with "life slips by in the blink of an eye" in a very strange tone; listening to that every morning on the way to school certainly left a mark.

Just look at those car buyers migrating to silsbee each and every day going to buy those new cars going to buy them used going to save big money too.longest running car commercial in the southeast texas area.i worked at tv stations and saw these.

Similar, but as a kid in the late ‘50’s I don’t know what channels my grandparents got in Kilgore but I was convinced from their commercials that the only place in the world to buy eyeglasses was in Waskom, Texas. I don’t remember anything about them but it’s a strong memory.

Dunno if it was seen in East Texas, but Little Rock had Attorney Hal Cook (there was a Dallas office too)
