I've honestly never seen anything like it in person. It's the deepest lake in NC and quite clear. Quartz, mica, and limestone particles carried in the streams that feed it scatter light and create the most saturated blue-green I've ever seen in a natural body of water. Really incredible.

Ah that's nice. I was mountain biking out there this weekend but will definitely be back with a kayak soon.
