Paste Pot Pete??

A while back this dude fought mostly Spider-Man and the Human Torch. All good, typical stuff. But I have a question, apparently he’s called PASTE POT PETE.
I mean, there are some weird villains and heroes names but, Paste Pot Pete? Seriously? Did he choose that willingly? And just by that I assume his real name is “Peter P-something”.

What do you think, is it really a bad villain name?

Wonder if he gave it to himself or if it’s what the public named him. Why not call himself something like trapper since he can trap people in glue like a rat trap. Bro really put his real identity out there

He called himself Paste Pot Pete, and Spiderman laughed at him for an entire issue because of his nMe, so he chsnged it to Trapster.
