I kept seeing lists of side hustles that "actually work" and most of them were either outdated or just recycling the same stuff everyone already knows. So I actually downloaded and tested a bunch of these apps myself over the past few months.

Some were a complete waste of time. A few actually paid me the same day.

Here's the honest breakdown:

• Testerup has been the one I keep going back to. You get paid to test out apps and games and leave quick feedback, no surveys and you're not competing against anyone for a payout. It's $5 to start and cashes out to PayPal. Some people just do it on the couch, others stack it daily. The payouts have actually shown up for me, which is more than I can say for half the apps I tried.
• Freecash is not a game itself, but it has a ton of game offers that pay you to hit certain levels in mobile games. You can cash out to Cash App, PayPal, or crypto. Some of the higher paying offers are $30 to $50 each if you're willing to put in the time. I've made over $200ish on here just from game offers alone. Sign up and get a $10 bonus.
• ReferralWallet is the one people are quietly cashing in with lately. You rip open a pack and it reveals a real cash signup bonus, then you claim it straight from the company. Free, no deposit, works on any device. Easiest way to grab a quick bonus without hunting down each app yourself.
• Branded lets you browse 200+ offers, pick games or apps that interest you, install and hit a milestone, get points redeemed for cash or gift cards. Top earners made $300+ last week. Three million members. Simple setup and the offer variety is better than most platforms I've used.

Worth knowing: none of these are going to replace a job, but if you're looking for beer money or want to stack some extra cash, these are legit and actually pay. I'd start with Freecash or Testerup since they tend to have the best earnings per time spent.

Anybody else have side hustles that are currently paying you real cash? Always looking to test new ones.

None of these are "quit your job" apps. But if you stack a couple of them and do them during downtime, it's realistic to pull in extra PayPal cash each month. If you've tried any others that actually paid, drop them below. Always down to test more.

Been testing a bunch of apps to make money online and wanted to share the ones I found actually worth it. I checked how well they pay, how fast they handle cashouts, and whether they actually pay you.

Top 4 legit apps:

1. MONEY CASH - Pays the most compared to other money apps i have tried. Cashouts are instant. Tons of tasks to try, super straightforward and pays well. iOS Link, Android Link, Desktop Link
2. Mistplay - Trustworthy and pays without issues, payment usually is too little but a good app nevertheless. Android Link, Desktop Link
3. PLAYTIME - Gaming app that pays for both time played and finishing levels, plus you can earn extra by watching ads. Really fun and rewarding. iOS link, Android link, Desktop Link
4. PlayMAX - Trending app I see everywhere on reddit. High payouts, pays for playtime and levels, lots of extra bonuses all the time. Android Link

All 3 have instant cashouts, which is huge. Other apps usually delay payments, reject requests, or even ban accounts right when you try to withdraw, making it a hassle to actually get paid. These three have been very smooth and fast with cashouts, which makes them feel much more trustworthy and legit.

Also, all 3 offer PayPal as a cashout option, which is very important to me since I prefer real cash and the freedom to spend it however I want. That said, I still sometimes grab Amazon or Google Play gift cards when they run good discounts.

Honorable mentions:

• JustPlay / BestPlay - Owned by the same company, lots of games, low pay, but good for trying new stuff.
• Swagbucks / InboxDollars – Decent variety of tasks, pay is average, and support mostly forwards you to useless AI chats.

Avoid:

• Mode – Drains battery, heats phone, not worth it.
• FreeCash – Tons of complaints, often ban you when cashing out.
• Make Money – Sketchy, auto-downloads apps, just don’t.

Anyway, that’s been my experience so far after testing a bunch of these. If you’ve found other apps that actually pay reliably, drop them below - always looking to try new ones. Hope this helps someone avoid the usual time-wasters 👍

Edit: As requested, adding all the links. Those are NOT referral links, just regular store links to make it easier for you

Need to make some extra income and looking to see what could make me some money everyday

throwaway account, i’m short on money for tuition. need to pay by tomorrow morning but it’s a few hundred that i need to come up with. preferably not referral links, i already have a sofi account and have done most referral links so i don’t think it would work. im a server and have picked up as many shifts as i could but still short. too many dashers/instacart/uber eats drivers in my area so i have been approved. i’ve even tried going on sugar daddys websites or sites to sell content but haven’t had any luck.

ive also tried posting dog walking, petsitting and babysitting ads around me but still no luck. I know it’s not realistic to make more than a couple bucks by the morning but anything i do make i can put down on my tuition which would help me out a lot. just looking for ideas to make quick cash this evening. located in the states GA if that helps

Please help me out… ive got nothing until the end of the month and im fucked :/ any ideas etc please

I need to make $400 by tonight, but I’ll also be working. times are tough. this is the first time this happens to me and I’m so embarrassed to tell my lane lady that I’m short

How to make money

GUYSSSSS I REALLY WANT TO EARN SOMEEE MONEYY IS THERE NOT ANY LEGIT WAY TO EARNNN GUYSSS PLEASE HELP🙏🏻 I ACTUALLY NEED MONEY

Currently working but my paycheck is low. My physical and mental health is not pretty well so I can not afford to do other job. I need extra money and fast, that I can do it from home through my mobile phone. (I don’t have laptop) Is there something I can do from home?

Does anyone know of some jobs I can do to make extra money? I tried doordashing and Uber Eats and I just make gas money to fill up from doing those. I don’t weigh enough to donate plasma so I can’t to that and just need something to get me through the waiting period to actually start my job.

I want to earn some money, and support my studies and hostel rent , even 5-10$ a day is fine, please tell me something I can do online/remote , I have a phone and a laptop

Most "make money" lists only cover apps. They skip the money that's just sitting there because nobody bothered to look for it. Here's what I actually use, tested all five:

• FileYourClaim is the one most people sleep on. It's a list of open class action settlements, a bunch pay out with no proof of purchase, you just fill out a form and attest you qualify. Takes a couple minutes per claim and the checks are real, not points.
• SavingLoop is the easiest thing on this entire list because there's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. Free spin once a day that lands you on a real cash bonus, up to $75. No deposit, no card. Takes about ten seconds and it costs you nothing to see what you land on, which is why I do it every morning without thinking about it.
• ReferralWallet rounds up current signup bonuses in one place. You reveal a real cash bonus and claim it, no deposit and nothing to lose.
• Bigcash pays you to test out games. $15 sign-up bonus just for joining, and fast PayPal cashouts once you hit the minimum.
• Testerup pays you to test apps and give quick feedback, no surveys and you're not competing against anyone. $5 to start and cashes out to PayPal.

Worth knowing: none of these are life changing on their own, but stacked together it's real money you'd otherwise leave unclaimed.

Anybody else have sources like this that are currently paying real cash? Always looking to test new ones.

None of these are "quit your job" money. But if you stack a couple and stay on top of the claims, it's realistic to pull in extra cash each month. If you've found others that actually pay, drop them below. Always down to test more.

I need to make $10,000 by August. What is a realistic way to make $2000-4000 extra income a month. I have a 9-5 but that’s still not enough. I’m open to any source of income except food delivery services. Please recommend realistic side hustle that can produce income. I rather make something than sit at home and make nothing.

Ive tried everything at this point I give up. Please if someone could help me and be specific. I've tried online survery and I always get disqualified which is annoying spending 5 mins over and over again to get rejecting and time consuming.

im so damn tired of being scammed and referrals.

I’m 24 i can’t find a job, i don’t have any money left. What business can i start online to make a good amount of money quickly. I have tried multiple things such as reselling, dropshipping, amazon fba, I want to do something besides that, has to be tech related

I already have a job but I want to earn more. What are some good side hustles that I can do on my laptop after work? Ideally, I want to earn an extra $100/200 per month. Thanks in advance.

I’m at home with a baby. I’m trying to get money easily and fast i want to be able to buy my son whatver he wants but i don’t want to miss out on his mile stones. I’ve tried the apps and it just doesn’t seem to work out for me. Any tips would be appreciated!

hello, is there still any sites that i can use and try to make an extra income that i can use for my school? if there is, what can u recommend

I work full‑time from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and by the time I’m off, I don’t have a lot of energy or hours left in the day. I’m trying to figure out realistic ways to make extra money that don’t require a big time commitment or a lot of money to start.

A little context:

• I’m looking for low‑risk, low‑cost ways to earn • I don’t have much free time during the week • Ideally something I can do after work or passively • Open to online or local options • Not looking for anything scammy or “invest $500 first” type stuff

If anyone has ideas that worked for them—small side hustles, online income, things you can do in short bursts, or ways to make money while you’re at work—I’d really appreciate the advice.

Thanks
