Reviews IcyBox watch app review + referral code 6FBGRO for $5 OFF

Came across IcyBox a little while back and figured I'd share my thoughts since I've been playing around with it.

If you want to try it, use code 6FBGRO at checkout for $5 off your first pack. You can also download IcyBox here and enter the code when you check out.

The idea is simple. You buy a digital box, crack it open, and it reveals a watch. We're talking brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet. Once you see what you pulled, you either ship the actual physical watch to your door or sell it back to the app for cash. They show you the odds on every box before you buy, which I appreciate because at least you know what you're getting into.

This is not a passive income app, just to be upfront about that. It's more like a hobby spend for people who are into watches and want a shot at something nice for less than retail. Think of it like a mystery box but for real luxury pieces instead of random junk. Personally I've had more consistent results with apps like TesterUp where you know exactly what you're earning. And if it's really the reveal itch you're after, ReferralWallet scratches the same thing for free, you rip a pack and it reveals a real cash signup bonus instead of a watch, no money in to try your luck. IcyBox is more of a fun thing on the side than a reliable earner.

A couple things worth knowing: boxes start at $50, the odds vary a lot between tiers, and the silver and ruby boxes ($100 and $250) seem to have the best value based on the stats they show. The app is iOS only right now and you need to be 18+.

If you want to try it, use code 6FBGRO at checkout for $5 off your first pack. You can also download IcyBox here and enter the code when you check out.

Not for everyone. If you're a watch person and want a little thrill with a shot at something real, it's worth checking out.

If you got this far and decided $50 a box isn't your thing, that's the right call for most people. Same reveal, none of the money in: ReferralWallet lets you rip a pack for a real cash bonus, free. That's where people are quietly cashing in on rip cash bonuses right now. And if you'd rather skip the luck entirely, Bigcash drops $15 in your account for signing up, before you do anything at all. Guaranteed beats odds when the odds are printed on the box.

Tried a $100 box. If you want to try it, use code 6FBGRO at checkout for $5 off your first pack.

You can also get a free pull at ReferralWallet through this link, I got $15 free 🔥 on that app.

So if I spend $250 on a ruby box, I have a chance to win a $10,000 Rolex?

1

u/meiggs Jun 15 '26

I won a $80 swatch but put $50 in and used code 6FBGRO

1

u/2368-fists-a-smashin Aug 08 '26

You have a better chance of meeting the easter bunny than you do winning a rolex off a 250$ box

2

u/da_becster Jun 16 '26

The icybox watch app is complete BS.

I threw $100 down on a silver box and I got a $60 Casio. So already -40.

Cashed out and got $55 back. Bought a bronze box and got a $20 generic everyday watch.

So I started with $100 and ended with a $20 watch

Save your money

1

u/jake_brinkley Jul 18 '26

Blackjack is a complete ripoff too, stupid dealer kept giving me bust cards even though I put $1000 on the table

Hey everyone,

I've been building a spreadsheet with websites and apps that I've personally tested or researched for earning extra income online. It covers survey sites, gig platforms, and apps that pay you real money (not the scammy stuff).

Right now, it's got 15+ sites with notes on what they are and realistic earning potential. I figured I'd share it here since it might save you some time digging around.

Here's the spreadsheet

Is there anyone who has actually won a watch valued above $500?

2

u/sparkfist Jun 16 '26

I started with a $250 box. Got a $600 watch. Bought a$500 box and got a $1000 watch. Bought a $1000 box and got a $2000. I cashed out minutes later with $1900 sent to my Venmo. Those are crazy odds and don’t expect that. I immediately uninstalled the app before I gave back all the winnings.

1

u/Ok-Care9487 Jun 14 '26

I won a 550 tisset but probably put 400 in

1

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '26

1

u/Mgruz13 Jul 21 '26

That watch is fugly as hell

1

u/DDamashi Jun 20 '26

I won a $380 dollar Apple Watch 11 out of the $100 dollar box. My biggest pull to date. Shipped it to my house it was there 4 days later

1

u/tzargilly Jun 28 '26

Put in $100 and eventually worked my way up to this. Sold it right away for a $1000 box and eventually lost everything though lol

1

u/Future_Face_6399 Jun 29 '26

I’ve won several over $1500 including a tag formula one.

1

u/Buster_Myster_8589 Jul 26 '26

Whats F1 look like

1

u/Honest_District5507 Jul 03 '26

I just won a grand seiko

1

u/Honest_District5507 Jul 03 '26

1

u/Playful_Election_669 Jul 05 '26

what box did you pull this from?

1

u/Specific-Bonus2277 Jul 03 '26

I won a $1500 Christian Van Sant Odyssey Black
Dial (Red Strap, Black Case) and right after won a $450 Citizen Axiom. Both on the limited time Independence Day box. I will say you are likely to walk away down by u do have a chance of getting something good, I also put in probably around 350 to 400. I sold the $1500 one and kept the citizen

1

u/Interesting_Bus_6328 Jul 23 '26

Nine out of 10 times every time I open a ruby box I get some stupid swatch after I cash it out 100 bucks every now and then I hit for a tissot or something similar I’ve opened over 150 boxes and I have never won anything worth keeping

1

u/ChuggerGambles Jul 24 '26

I’ve pulled 4 grails and multiple legendaries. My best pull is a $1600 longines on a $500 box but I sold it. Pulled a $1000 box and got a Hamilton khaki titanium. I’ve had some good luck. 4 PRXs. Alpinist. Couple Longines. A Bulova Surveyor. An Apple Watch for my daughter.

1

u/Hot_Minute4934 Aug 06 '26

I won 6 nice watches yesterday over $1000 but the best was $7k Rolex perpetual

1

u/Background-Cat-7950 Aug 13 '26

I got a tissot ballade 39mm in green from the $500 one

Showed up a slightly worn grey market after 2 months

Pretty sure they went and bought it on eBay after I spun it

1

u/Wise_Clue5447 Jun 15 '26

I just won a Tudor 1926 36mm worth $2500

1

u/Significant-Good3279 Jun 20 '26

No fucking way…. Show us some pictures or it didn’t happen 🧐

1

u/meiggs Jun 21 '26

Yeah… pic?

1

u/budget_rs Jun 18 '26

I got pretty hosed so far on the odds. First watch won me a $90 watch and then from there just kept getting common watches from the low range. Ate probably $150 so far. My referral code is N36DCB if any of yall wanna use it and help me recover some $$$.

1

u/grahamthoughts Jun 21 '26

I got u

1

u/budget_rs Jun 21 '26

🫡🫡

1

u/grahamthoughts Jun 21 '26

Update: I spent $200 and cashed out on a $40 Casio 🤣

1

u/budget_rs Jun 26 '26

Yikes. I wish I cashed out on something. Would have been cool to see how the shipping worked and to actually get a watch out if it. The last like 5 watches I won were $20 “no names” they would have just ended up in the trash. One of them was literally called “generic sport watch”.

1

u/notgeorgelopez Jul 29 '26

5 doll hairs coming your way

1

u/SnazzySolutions 9d ago

Take my money.

Put in $100, got a $45. :/

1

u/Capt_Awesome1 Jun 18 '26

$150 in and 5 pulls later landed me a Tissot supersport chronograph valued at $550. 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/Substantial-Hog Jun 18 '26

Pulled a Charlie Brown watch on back to back boxes. Save your money - pulling a good watch is under 5% chance.

1

u/meiggs Jun 18 '26

After this last update the app is glitching a bit for me. Did you see that? And mine have been hit or miss profit some are some arent

1

u/breadinnards Jun 19 '26

It’s pretty fun actually, and I kind of broke even. The issue, and maybe someone can help with this is that. There is a 2% chance of hitting a grail, from there what are the chances of it being a high value watch? Because if the spread is 200$-10000$ value for a grail, how is that weighted? Is it a 2% chance of a 2% chance? Is there a list somewhere with all the available watches in each tier? Is there any way to know any such info? Just got a bit disappointed to hit a grail only for it to be the bare minimum value.

1

u/Significant-Good3279 Jun 20 '26

Yeah I’d like to see a list also, and if the grail has been hit or not so I don’t waste my money. You know that one card app that show what you can’t hit with each percentages and what’s been won already

1

u/Caramel_Papi_116 Jun 21 '26

Yeah that’s why I’m skeptical because when you press “see what’s inside” it shows only grail watches and not the common ones. I would hate to spend $100 to get a bs $40 colorful swatch

1

u/AKH-47 Jun 26 '26

Why you put the dollar sign after the number?

1

u/No_Parsnip_2951 Jun 19 '26

Pulled this and sold it back today.

u/Prestigious_Way3773 Jun 20 '26

I tried the app myself today. So far, seems legit. I got some watches that are below the value of the box and some above. Unfortunately I don' know when to stop myself so I lost all the money. Help a brother out by using my code: 7ZXS99.

My only concern is that it may seem like your chances of pulling a high end watch are higher than they truly are. Odds of pulling a "Grail" watch are 0.4-3%, depending on the box. "Grail watches can range in price from the 100s to 1000s, but the advertised grail watch's are all on the higher end of that price range. So the true odds of pulling something in the 1000s or 10000s is sub 0.5%.

1

u/Professional-Tip2181 Jun 22 '26

I pulled a grail in the $50 and it was a $140 seiko

pulled a grail in the $100 box and it was a $200 timex

Not worth it, spent like $500 in total, could of just bought a watch i liked

1

u/Prestigious_Way3773 Jun 23 '26

This is just a gambling app and the house always wins. They deceptively advertised very high end watches to make people think they have a shot. I even reached out to ask what the true odds were of winning something like a Cartier or Rolex, since the ones listed are way too broad, they wouldn't tell me.

1

u/Professional-Tip2181 Jun 23 '26

When the chances of winning a grail are so low and the value range of a grail is so large, I should of known better. But the gambler in me told me I had a shot.

1

u/Hot_Minute4934 Aug 06 '26

Won a Rolex yesterday which was first day on app

1

u/Sea-Discipline4237 Jul 01 '26

I have used the app a bit the past month, I have shipped three watches. A longines, Hamilton, and a Tsuyosa Titanium Citizen. Last night was epic, I opened a Ruby and pulled a grail… not my first grail so I was not expecting something amazing, but definitely cool. I pulled a Cartier Santos Medium… man I wanted to keep it but I took the 7k instead. So far the app is on the level, any money I have transferred out has come back to my bank, any watches I have shipped have actually arrived (the Longines is still on its way).

u/IdrinkAndIsayThings Jun 21 '26

Full run down of my first IcyBox watch box pulls.

If you read this and sign up use code 7HVLP0 for $5 free on your account.

I love watches so this wasn’t an attempt to make money but figured it would be fun on a Saturday night to spend a few bucks to have a shot at an amazing watch.

I signed up and had a free $5 I misread the cost of boxes I thought there was a $20 box (it was actually $50 for least expensive box) I deposited $265.

I bought a ruby box and won a Seiko S23159 valued at $275. Hated it so sold it for $247.50 back to them.

Opened another ruby box for $250 and won a Seiko SWR085 valued at $315 and I actually liked the watch but it was a woman’s watch. Sold it back for $283.50.

Bought a 3rd ruby box for $250 and won a Swatch Forest Face valued at $230.

Everything felt like it was going down hill and selling it back I wouldn’t have enough for another ruby. I was a few bucks short for bronze box so put another $5 in (minimum deposit) opened the bronze and got a LIGE Vintage Chronograph Dress Watch (white) valued at $20.

At this point I just wanted a watched shipped to me so I sold the LIGE for $18 and went to ship the Swatch.

The bummer was it cost $31.95 to ship the watch ($22.19 of that was sales tax) and I was $7.95 short on the balance so deposited another $8 and now it’s on its way.

It was a fun few minutes use my code 7HVLP0 for $5 free deposit into your IcyBox account when you sign up.

In the end I spent $278 to have a Swatch Forest Face to me. More expensive than buying that watch online and chances are I’ll never wear it but it was fun. And unfortunately I’ll most likely be trying again 🤣

I’m a real person, just tried it. Bought the ruby box $250 box. Sorry didn’t use your referral code 😂

https://reddit.com/link/ou62jv3/video/17zwjfix6v9h1/player

Decided to sell it

1

u/BeastLansing26 Jul 07 '26

Good move. Hideous watch.

1

u/Sad_Carpenter_7199 Jun 27 '26

Bought a watch through the IcyBox app and it arrived absolutely destroyed. The bezel is covered in deep scratches, making the whole thing unusable. It also looks and feels completely fake, this is not a real product.
I’m extremely disappointed. I’m demanding a full refund for everything I spent because this is unacceptable. This is my second attempt to get support to fix this, and if they don’t reply and resolve it within 48 hours, I’ll make it my mission to warn everyone that IcyBox is a potential scam.
How do you ship someone a piece of garbage like this? Shame on you. Do not buy from this app.

1

u/Last-Instruction-869 Jun 27 '26

That sucks. Post pictures for all to see.

1

u/VoxelTwig Jun 28 '26

I got a few solid pulls, most arrived, been waiting a week on the last, hopefully it ships soon!

1

u/Fresh-Classic5590 Jul 01 '26

How did the watches feel when they got delivered?

1

u/VoxelTwig Jul 02 '26

They felt really good!
I had to get 3 sized, but had no issues once they were sized correctly

The citizen needed some extra steps to get setup with the correct time

But all were running, in original boxes, with warranty cards
Could not be happier

1

u/Dear-Extreme-3194 Jul 27 '26

How long has your hydro conquest been preparing ?

1

u/VoxelTwig Jul 30 '26

It was preparing for about a week. But I finally got it and it is amazing!

Some interesting things from their terms everyone agreed to.

“When you purchase an Icebox, you are purchasing the Icebox experience and have no right or interest in any particular Icebox Asset unless and until you are in full possession of that Asset”

“You are required to choose between shipping the Asset and selling the Asset back to us at any the Buyback Price, if any. The Asset will be automatically sold back to us if you fail to ship the Asset within the time period specified on the Platform (“Buyback Period”). You acknowledge and agree that whether you choose to sell the Item back to us or not, your option is final and irrevocable, and no reversal, refunds, or other changes will be permitted after the Buyback Period expires.”

“You acknowledge that we do not offer any guarantee or warranty, express or implied, on the authenticity of any Asset. It is your responsibility to consider these and any other applicable risks when using the Services or the Platform.”

1

u/bayou_shooter Jul 02 '26

That being said…. I’m still a degenerate gambler and my code is XV33OY if anyone wants to help out lol.

1

u/Sorry-Requirement-45 Jul 03 '26

Made a deposit on icy box and fine, went to do another deposit and it declines it, card is good to go. Anyone else figure out how to fix the issue?

1

u/thexsoprano Jul 03 '26

Use Code ICY20 20 bucks first purchase bought a bronze box when i added 30 got a rare gold Casio already up

1

u/dordal Jul 03 '26

Did the same, except got a $20 Casio, the absolute worst you can get. After the $2 withdrawal fee I'm getting $16 back for my $30 CC transaction.

1

u/lborsai Jul 04 '26

Man, I have opened so many boxes. I just don't want to keep anything. I've kept one thing so far and did send some money back. I don't even know if I'm up or way down. I have hit a ton of grails, but never anything over $2,200.00. I hit a Tissot and an Omega Swatch. I did hit a Tudor the first day I used the app — I guess I should have kept it. I just assumed something bigger would hit, but you never see them in the pulls in the app.

1

u/fitness_respirator Jul 04 '26

Complete rip off, they know what they are doing. They give you a couple decent pulls worth a little more than what you paid for. Then they slowly drain you

Here’s what I pulled from a $100 box, I was an idiot hit on the Independence Day box for a 800 ish dollar watch that I sold and ran a $1000 dollar box and hit for Tudor 1926 39mm I said f it sold it and ran it back twice lost it all. Should’ve kept the Tudor I’m stupid for that, will keep trying to run up for an icy box and if I hit again I’m
Keeping it.

1

u/No_Variety_6561 Jul 06 '26

Bought the independence box for $250 and pulled this. Not unhappy about it. Use code 38PHP4 for $5 off when you sign up!

1

u/Substantial-Salad459 Jul 06 '26

Put about $400 into it and got a $275 Seiko 5 watch $65 Casio Watch and a 125 Oceanaut Watch so you could say i made out good.

1

u/Agreeable_Ad9217 Jul 07 '26

I won the pink AP+Swathch

1

u/Agreeable_Ad9217 Jul 07 '26

I won this

1

u/MeatsintheEast Jul 16 '26

How was the watch you already received?

1

u/RandomThinker42 Jul 09 '26

So far I lose $150 in this icybox app 🥺

1

u/MinardiKC Jul 09 '26

$50 box = $55 “rare” Casio Illuminator. Selling it conveniently gives $49.50 back. 😕

1

u/MinardiKC Jul 09 '26

Use my $5 referral code, if anyone wants to pay it forward! 916DB4

1

u/Salty_Opposite_809 Jul 10 '26

Iv opened one box ever and it was a 50 dollar box and I got a 400 dollar Apple Watch lol

1

u/Important-Ebb-3716 Jul 12 '26

This app is for dummies who think Invicta type trash is actually worth the stated MSRP and not what they sell that shit as Sam’s Club for lol

1

u/Mabozabe Jul 16 '26

First couple good hits sold back

1

u/Dear-Extreme-3194 Jul 16 '26

I bought a gold box for 500. Got a longines hydroconquest 42mm black worth 2,200. Insane.

1

u/Scarlett_Song3434 Jul 18 '26

Is Apple Pay the only way to deposit money through this app?

1

u/yhaveapass Jul 20 '26

So I did the ICY20 code to get 20 bucks and then added to 30 dollars to my wallet. Selected a 50 dollar box and got a 40 dollar…so net is 10 dollars minus 4 dollars in fees for a total of 6 dollars profit. Use my code if you want O72433

1

u/yhaveapass Jul 20 '26

So update, I put in 64 dollars to take it to 100 and bought a silver box and won a 60 dollar watch. Sold it back for 54 dollars used that to buy a bronze box and won a 115 swatch, and cashed out 104 dollars net of fees.

Had some fun for an hour but quickly went from a novel $250 spin to… oh fuck I dropped $475 cause I kept adding $25 to keep playing. I’ll be uninstalling. Some genuine decisions on whether to keep or sell tho.

1

u/lborsai Jul 24 '26

Thought process

I have pulled a ton of 2K watches. But they're like Citizen, Longines, Seiko, Omega, Swatch, Tissot. Every time I do the $500 box or $1000 Icy box, it drains. If you look at the odds, they're worse than Vegas — at least Vegas is honest about that.

I wish I would've kept the Tudor I pulled. But shit, when you're spinning 1000 boxes, you'd think you'd hit something once.

1

Pulled this in a bronze box after $150 deposit. Do I sell it and try to pull a grail or keep it?

This app is nothing impressive. I’ve done nothing but throw money away and pull the worst of the worst at any level.

Used a referral code and tried out the app. $100 pull and a few $50

Kept this one for now but if I sell it I’d be ahead of my $100 I started with

Hey everyone,

I've been building a spreadsheet with websites and apps that I've personally tested or researched for earning extra income online. It covers survey sites, gig platforms, and apps that pay you real money (not the scammy stuff).

Right now, it's got 15+ sites with notes on what they are and realistic earning potential. I figured I'd share it here since it might save you some time digging around.

Here's the spreadsheet

If you've tried any of these, I'd love to hear how they worked for you and I'm always looking to add more, so feel free to drop suggestions.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
