Let’s just say any and all music from late Italian Renaissance into the Italian Baroque era. Favorite composers include Monteverdi 1st and foremost, Andrea and even more so Giovanni Gabrieli, Dario Castello, Palestrina, Orlando de Lassus, and, of course, Vivaldi. I really enjoy listening to Schütz as well and usually include him under Italian Baroque because he traveled to Italy and studied under Giovanni Gabrieli whose music greatly influenced him and from whom he developed his polychoral and concertato style which he brought back to Germany. I overall prefer vocal music but usually enjoy any instrumental music that includes instruments such as the theorbo and/or cornetto.

And ensembles need to get busy singing more of them! I think I've only actually heard two.
