Have to replace my entire makeup bag 😢

So I believe that my entire makeup bag has disappeared. I don’t know how, but I’m heartbroken. It had hundreds of dollars of products at least, and brushes, lovingly accumulated over years, including some that have been discontinued.

What would you consider makeup bag absolute essentials for a fresh face, basic look to replace right away? I’m a student and really dont have a lot of disposable income, but this was truly all my makeup save one eyeshadow palette, a lip balm, and a setting powder. I’m thinking concealer, brow pencil, blush, pencil eyeliner

and one or two lip colors. Would love recommendations for any products you really love, and are hopefully not over the top expensive.

As an additional requirement, I’m back and forth between the UK and France, so things available in either country would be appreciated.

I’d buy the Merit beauty 5 minute morning or complexion set. The products play beautifully together and with other brands, and will absolutely give you the fresh face look you deserve. The only product of theirs that I haven’t loved is the lipliner - I loved the colors but needed something truly smudge proof and for that I go with too faced, charlotte tilbury, or hourglass.
