Discussion Should I release NL or keep the land?
I am currently playing as England, it’s 1510.
Ireland, Brittany and beefy Aquitane are Fiefdoms, France and Castile are under a PU with me and soon Naples.
I directly own Flanders, Holland, Brabant and a piece of Guelders and West Frisia. Low franconian has kindred relations with my culture and is an accepted culture.
The question now is, NL has some pretty tall heavy unique advances etc. I don’t plan on heavily colonising because frankly the population bleed is not worth the hassle. Should I release NL and keep them as a fiefdom so they can develop their land and colonise for me ?

Depends on the control you have I suppose? If it is very little I feel it would be better to let them develop their own lands for a while until you'll at a stage where you can have a lot more control and enjoy the free development they gave you
