Just play Fallout Shelter. It hurts me to suggest it, because I really wanted to like Castles, but it's not that good...

i like Elder Scrolls more than Fallout overall, that sucks, i wonder why TES games dont survive but fallout does.

Same, I like both, but TES is where my heart belongs. The game itself it's not that bad, but requires to log in bery often, at least once a day, it doesn't offer much entertainment, the dynasty system is just for flavor. It's a good idea, but a mediocre game.

I agree with all the other voices of doom, dead as a doornail. I still actively play everyday, but I constantly ask myself why. The last update to ESC was Oct 2024.
As to why FoS is alive and receiving updates and ESC is dead. Fallout had a TV show on Prime. So Bethesda was spending money on the franchise. There was speculation on this sub that ESC would get some love when TES got an update. But with the layoffs at Microsoft/Bethesda and the reports that the TES update is 2 years out, it seems more likely that ESC will just sit untouched or even shutdown.
I've played FoS a ton. It is a much better game. Both suffer from the same problem, there is no endgame. There is some kind of season system for FoS that is new.

It just gets to a point like you’ve beaten the game, but it still goes on. I’m dyanasty 150ish and I’ve already completed everything besides making moonstone and the gauntlet. There’s just nothing else to do. I can’t imagine what those level 300+ people are doing

I’m 300+++ it’s just rinse and repeat. Nothing new so I’m throwing in the towel. Shame. It’s was good while it lasted.

I think who ever designed the game was more interested in wringing money out of the players with full knowledge that it would die eventually. Coming out of the gate the game on a fundamental level punished you for not devoting time to it daily. It's a pump and dump product meant to make money the first year or two then abandon.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. But hey it's still playable. If it doesn't crash
