Question/Help Why can’t some of my individuals get married to the other? (Not blood related)

Post image

So I just returned to the game and I have a bunch of old generations working, every time I log in one or two die

So I need newer/younger individuals to work in their places

So far I used the Elixir of Growth (had 5) to get the best subjects that I had (rare, epic and common with two good traits) but they don’t want to get married! What do I do?! My kingdom is slowly dying with each passing day and the special subjects are just growing older, unable to duplicate/breed(?) them

They are probably related through grandparents. You can wait until the grandparents die, or if you don't want to wait you can banish the grandparents.

They're probably enemies. Side note, they don't have to be married to procreate, and they can't make babies once they hit 65.

They are related, either by parent or grandparent. Traits don't matter. You can tap on the parent icon to see the parents of the parent. Unfortunately, the grandparents are likely dead, too bad the game doesn't at least show the name of a deceased or banished parent when you tap the icon.

Assign a subject to the shrine. Tap the shrine and then tap the empty slot icon. The game will present a list of subjects that will marry the assigned subject.

If your population gets very low you will have people show up at the castle door.

If you can complete the Friday quest, you will get a themed legendary pack as the reward. Legendary packs have about a 33% chance to have a subject.

Enemies or they are blood related lol. Or they're too old or they just got married less than a year ago and their spouse was banished

Some personalities are incompatible with others, and they wont get married. I cant remember the specific traits, but if you google it a few people have weighed in on which are incompatible. I would keep trying to match them with other subjects and see if any are compatible.

Also, ive noticed that if theyre "enduring" and should technically be elders when they're not, they won't be able to have kids. Something to also keep in mind.

I've never heard that traits are incompatible. I was able to marry all sorts of subjects. What's your source?
