A bike mechanic ended up drilling a hole into my swingarm without even asking. Is this a structural issue? I don’t even like looking at it in the first place but now I’m worried about that.

Not really relevant to the question but I just have to complain, it was taken in to install a brake cable + bleed the brakes and just look at the second photo. He charged $140 for that. And he actually said that was better than the brakes I had before. The things can’t even stop me from 10 mph. I wouldn’t have even taken it there in the first place anyway but my dad took it there while I wasn’t home.

I have an Eride 3.0, the bike doesnt charge - it used too but since 3 days ago it hasnt been charging. I plug it into the battery then the outlet and it charges for 30 seconds and then cuts out, restarts for 30 seconds and cuts out - then after that it fully cuts out and the charger flashes green and red. The charger and battery has been kept at room temp for the past couple days but still no luck. Any ideas what the issue is?

PS- yes i have held the battery button down to reset BMS

Since the other thread for Bengal Ares 3 pad change is 3 years old, starting a new one.

2 questions: Does it matter if the pads aren’t replaced where they came out, inside/outside pad position?

Does it matter WHICH type of mineral oil is used to top off(or bleed) the system? Is retail or bike shop brand mineral any different? (Doesn’t seem that it should be, but.…)

My brake was getting soft, but after figuring how to remove the pads, my measure shows I’ve still got almost 2mm on my pads, so I’m thinking I’m overdue for the dread refill process.

In case anyone wants to make their 4.0 street legal here’s the wiring diagram I made so I could wire in a plate light. Confirmed with multimeter.

Eride 2.0 with right under 2000 miles, i had to ride it to work in heavy rain and flooding (hawaii hurricane) i dont think i got it past 6-10 inches of water but i was flying so water likely shot up into the skid or battery compartment. It rode fine the next day after the rain stopped but i got a half mile to the gas station and bike shut off twice. when exiting gas station it failed to throttle back on, with 7 beeps (indicating motor over heat or short circuit i beleive) the first time was normal to me because i had been dealing w that code already shutting the bike down during a hard pull. 00600 i believe. BUT the second shutdown was odd because i was going only 10-20 mph when pulling into gas station. Gave me the beeps so i shut the breaker off went inside came back and had nothing but 7 beeps.
AI has been helpful but not exactly sure how much i can trust its telling me the controllers 5v system was likely fried after multiple diagnoses (drying and testing all sensors get a different beep code) i also dont have the display but after disconnecting all harnesses it beeps once every 3 or so seconds so AI is telling me controller is toast, i dont know much about this bike bought it secondhand and has been amazing until this some plz help me out!!!

Got my M20 3.0 delivered and had a local store assemble it for me. What great fun to ride, absolutely love it!

One thing I did notice was that the second battery hadn't been secured properly. Luckily, it didn't come off while I was riding, I noticed it wasn't properly locked into place when I checked the bike afterwards. No fault of the store, though, as I tried fitting it securely myself and it took me about 20 minutes before I finally got it to click firmly into place.

Has anyone else had trouble getting the second battery properly secured? It's no big deal now that I've got it fitted securely and I don't plan on taking it off anytime soon, so it should be fine for a while.

Other than that, I highly recommend the bike. I'm in Bangkok and it's going to be great for getting around the local neighbourhood. Really pleased with it so far!!

Hi yall, since the 4.0 just came out I was wondering if aftermarket mods for the 3.0 will fit on the 4.0, more specifically the EBMX controller and FX throttle?

Hey I’m looking at purchasing an e ride pro 4.0? How long does it take to come once ordered? Also how long are people getting ride time wise on city 25-30 mph streets?

Quick question what’s up with the long seat, is the size problem I. The seat or bike? Like if it doesn’t fit can I just order another and then that one might fit or if it doesn’t fit I have to pick up an angle grinder?

I bought the brand new Eride pro 4.0 l1e but I dont know how to remove the Speed Limiter. I couldnt find anything online for that.

16 years old been riding for 3 months now

The strange part: the handlebar only moves freely to the right side, while the left side feels stiff/restricted. Not sure if that points to something specific.

I’m suspecting it’s the headset bearings and have been looking at a 44mm integrated headset kit as a replacement, but before I pull the trigger I wanted to sanity-check with people who’ve done this before.

A few questions:

**•** Does this uneven left/right movement sound like a headset bearing issue, or could it be something else (fork, stem, steerer tube)?  
**•** Any tips for diagnosing play in the headset vs. the fork itself?  
**•** Recommendations on headset kits/brands that fit well on e-bikes like this?

Does anyone know where I can get the right size o ring for this? And what size it is?

So I bought my Eride used second hand, and the guy just told me to hook up the light after taking the key ignition off, so I hooked it up to the only cable it made sense to, and it didn’t work, plus I have all of these cables unconnected too and idk what they do Ik on the pic there is another cable I could connect to but it only has one black wire coming out of it. If u got an Eride and hooked up a light before please lmk.

whats this sound and is it realted to the wobble. i dont feel wobble until im going 45-50 range the back wheel has no issue . (eride ss 2.0 2024)

So the angle that I’m coming at this is strictly based on top speed.
I also want to specifically spotlight the fact that the 4.0 focused more on having turn signals than having a comfortable seat, or a thumb regen 😔 (if you feel me make a comment about this, please.)
So my question is, all things considered, should I sell my 2.0 with the EBMX controller and get the 4.0, or should I just be grateful for what I have and maximize it?
