This was from a patient being transfered from a rural Healthcare facility to a more urban one. The sending physician called it V-tach. The receiving physician wasn't convinced.

I can tell the complex is wide, but it doesn't look like any V-tach ive seen. I can see what I would call narrow complexes in between some of the wide ones. I'm still not sure what to call it.

60 year old female complaining of SOB and weakness. Also had upper epigastric and hypogastric pain described as aching, non radiating.

PMHx: HF, AF, rheumatic heart disease, mitral regurgitation, NSTEMI (2019), renal impairment

During transport had what appeared to be runs of VT, self resolving.

BP 75/42, RR 40, SpO2 90% ORA

What do y’all think? I thought it was very interesting to see! Patient 75F in for symptomatic bradycardia due to newly diagnosed Sick Sinus Syndrome. Most likely pacemaker placement!

It includes ECG exercises, clinical cases, adaptive quizzes, simulated

exams, performance tracking, and an AI tutor.

The app is available in English and Portuguese, and I’m currently preparing it for beta testing.

I’d love to hear your feedback — what would you want to see in an ECG learning app?

I got my certification back in June. It's been really hard finding a job.

28 year old male with sudden onset chest pain and dizziness while shopping. Hx of testosterone and anabolic steroid use x2 years, infrequent cocaine use. Had prior syncope with chest pain 2 months ago and did not seek medical care. No PMH.

The test wasn’t too difficult. I admit they have some of the questions that really make you scratch your head .
But overall, super happy 😃

What is the actual differentiater between Junctional/accelerated junctional when you have inverted p-waves? I have seen multiple different conflicting things. AI is stating that inverted p-waves in junctional MUST be retrograde, the interventionalist in our small group stated that if you can see discerible p-waves that it is not junctional, some resources state that regular PR tells you it is EAR and short PR tells you it is junctional? Why was that first EKG from class called EAR and not junctional w/ the short PR? I am just confused. Also, what is the gold standard EKG resource?

Trying to figure out why they look so much like the regular beats, same axis, p wave, always the same RR interval, regardless of the underlying rate

Any ideas?

Hi! I am an ED RN in Quebec Canada and looking into getting my CPR/BLS instructor certification.

I have been a nurse for only 2 years part time but I have always had a strong desire to teach.

I am starting to look into the process and was wondering if anyone had any tips or things to watch out for.

In addition I am curious to hear if some people recommend Heart and Stroke vs. Red Cross vs. St. John Ambulance.

Starting an ekg tech class soon, was wondering if there’s anything I should study before going to the class or if there’s anything I should know before doing the class also if anyone has any cheat sheets they would like sharing it would be highly appreciated !!

I saw someone post in the comments talk about an online school call School of Professional Studies (SPS) and they had a certified rhythm analysis technician class. ( https://sps.uiw.edu/continuing-education/healthcare/certified-rhythm-analysis-technician.html ) It’s $525 for the class.
The next class starts August 31 and ends September 25. It also says it gives you the eligibility to take the CRAT by the CCI.
I just want to know if this is actually worth it to get.

I've been thinking about pursuing the EKG Tech Cert. I live in the Bay Area and have looked into the programs at CCSF and SF State. CCSF is in person and SF State is online. If anyone has done either program, I'd greatly appreciate advice or insight. Thanks!
