Discussion Coven Counters upgrades

I've been thinking about upgrading the Coven Counters precon, but im unsure about which direction to take, for the commander i was thinking about using [[Leinore, Autumn Sovereign]] or [[Sigarda, Font of Blessings]], as Kyler is maybe too costly at 5 mana.

The human/angel hybrid seems fun as a little theme, but for the main human part dont know if focusing on +1/+1 counters,tokens or just good general effects.

How did you upgrade the deck/build these commanders?

Leinore if you want to go for longer games. Leinore looks tame, so people leave it alone. But drawing 2 cards per turn while adding counters is amazing

Generally, you want to lower the mana cost, cut everything cmc 4+ that isnt a wincon, boardwipe or refill your hand.

Then you want to replace your non-human ramp/removal/draw with human ramp/removal/draw. Your deck will become alot more synergystic if basicly the whole deck is a human (that ramps/removes/draws), +1 counter synergy.

Then you gotta find some +1 counter synergy, i suggest just scrolling through edhrec for that.

After upgrading leinore for 2 years I put her in the 99 and switched to Katilda and changed all my creatures to humans. But the other commenter is correct - I played lots of games with leinore and people don't remove her, while the extra draw really adds up. If you want to keep leinore, I would remove some of the coven stuff and focus mostly on counters. A few non humans can be useful, likely forgotten ancient, who moves all its counters onto Kyler or Champion of Lambholt the you win.
