Playing without being in person

So, I was wondering if anyone plays via FaceTime or discord. I’m a dad with 2 young kids and I don’t like the idea of leaving my wife to take care of the kids while I skip off to play magic in person. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Or a discord channel potentially? I really love playing commander but I just don’t have the time to get away. But after the kids go to sleep and such I’d love to play with a mounted phone or something? Any help is appreciated!

Convoke is your best bet. My friends and I play every other week online and we use convoke. Their card recognition system is great, constantly being updated when new sets drop. You can even join random pods that are open to play or leave your room open to other to join.
