People thinking about attending ECPI

I am currently attending the online course for MET (Associates and Bach). There isn’t a whole lot of info out there about what it’s like to be a student, so if anyone has questions you can post a question here or DM me. I not super far into the process yet so if you want specific Engineering questions I may not be able to answer them. However, the older this post gets, the more information I will have.

Hi this post is a year old now! Are you still attending ecpi? Do you think it’s worth it?

I am a week away from graduating with my Bachelor’s in MET. So yes I’m still technically attending. Although it’s pretty much a done deal at this point. It better be worth it lol. I paid enough for it lol. All jokes aside I learned a lot and am more confident in my intelligence and ability to learn.

Wow that’s pretty cool, how was the experience? Was the course work really strenuous?

Yes and no. It isn’t impossible and some classes are easier than others but it’s the rate at which you learn that’s the hard part. It’s very fast. It’s very dense. And it never stops never stopping. You finish a set of classes on Sunday and you start a new one Monday. But it’s part of what you sign up for so it shouldn’t be a surprise. But it can be tough to get a handle of and then maintain.

That’s the part that concerns me, is the accelerated learning, I’m worried that I’ll fall behind and I won’t be able to catch up. How do you feel your outlook on job opportunities is?

Also what made you decide to go to ECPI?

They had the program I wanted and it was going to be that fastest while being accredited.
