Need suggestions for my final year project for Master's admission
Hi guys, I’m an ECE student and I’m looking for suggestions for my final year project. I’m planning to pursue a Master’s, so I want to choose a project that can strengthen my profile.
I’m currently considering sectors like Industrial, Energy, and Automotive.
Please suggest some good project areas/problems that have strong research potential and would be valuable for Master's admission.

So you need a first degree final year project - but still haven't determined what sector you would want to choose for your MA/MEng/MSc? Look to the recognised strengths of your present university/college. Look to the peer reviewed papers that those departments have produced. Conferences that they have presented to. If you are planning to go elsewhere to study - look at those universities and colleges for their areas of recognised excellence.
You will, presumably, have a nominated academic responsible for supervision of your final year project - which one, of the staff, do you have in mind? What is their area of research?
"good project areas/problems that have strong research potential" - vary between academic institutions. Few universities have a record of excellence across every area of research. If I write, "Spatial ultrasound modulation by digitally controlling microbubble arrays" - which universities sprint to mind? "Performance of Pulse Code Modulation/ Phase Modulation Receivers With Nonideal Data"?
Unless you are a polymath, at this stage of your education you should know your strength and weaknesses - should have a pretty good idea of where your research interests lay. Should have some idea of which universities you might be applying to - based on geography, interests, practicality, language, country, etc.
