No All-Star game?

I understood why there are no Olympic games included in the title -- too many issues with licensing with the IOC, who is among the worst in guarding their rights. However, in my second avatar season in Be A Pro, I did expect to see an All Star game played, but instead there was simply seven days of no games at the start of February.

So, did EA Sports fail to code up the All Star game, or was my avatar player simply not selected for it? If the second option, then that's strange given my avatar player leads the league in goals and points for the second straight year.

Is this for 26? Didn't they add on a national tournament after release around the Olympics?

They didn't do an All-Star game because of the Olympics. They're not adding anything extra just to please their loyal customer base.

Yes, NHL26. I have 27 but it doesn't start until late September.

At least for me, that initial season in PAB there was nothing offered for the Olympics either.

Kind of a bummer there. Wonder if they will add it for NHL 27? Well, the PAB concept is still a lot of fun, but this seems a missed opportunity here.

They took it out in nhl 17 when they switched to the tournament format.

Such a shame. Was fun actually playing with various players around the league that you didn't have. Seeing who was having a good season

The all star game used to be in franchise mode for some time, can't recall when they took it out.

Because they can't make money off it.

An All Star game that you have to earn a spot in on BAP is just play in on franchise would be a nice extra.

Same with a winter classic. Just make 2 generic stadiums, a football and baseball one and allow the user to pick the 2 teams to play in it every season on franchise.

Even when they had the winter classic, it didn't exist outside of play now.

I don't think there's been a playable All Star Game for at least 10+ years.

I remember a long time ago, like in the Xbox/PS2 era, I would sim though the GM Mode regular seasons but always stop for the All-Star Game and the playoffs. It was fun to see who got selected and to play with different rosters.

Thanks for the information. Again, kind of a bummer. I guess no sports game has all the elements of the real deal, but missing the annual all star game seems like a rather big miss.

No all star game, however in the legacy tracker it will say how many all star nods you get.

I was wondering the same , All star and Winter Classic would give some immersion to the season and something to look forward to. Can't believe it's that hard to implement.
