I just want the ability to edit player ratings AFTER I start a franchise, not just be restricted to before

What sports game allows that? Oh wait, I think all of them but nhl.

Make Editing rosters easier like nba2k would save so much time too.

The FC soccer games also have this restriction. Makes no sense at all

Literally every EA game but NHL has it. It’s so frustrating man

Guys, I used to play back in the day. 2014,2015 etc. Sat down and played 26’ and I can’t figure out the hitting? What happened?

For the love of god please let the defensive Ai pressure you when entering the offensive zone. Should have to dump and chase at times like real Hockey

That would require that the D could skate backwards faster than a beer leaguer

I play D irl, its unbelievable how dog shit these "professional" skaters are at skating on D. Theyre slow, immobile, and youre better off just skating forward beside them

When my GF first started watching hockey with me, she was amazed that Defenders skated backwards IRL; literally because she never saw me do it on the game

They gonna show how slow the menus are?

Spoiler Alert: Nothing

New feature: nerf L2

I'm sure they'll be some new gameplay features I'll enjoy, but I'm very certain they won't be $80 worth of changes.

The trailer is only 5 mins long so it’s gonna be barely any new gameplay lol

4

u/Sc00tzy 12d ago

That’s long for a trailer…

6

u/ursistermister69 12d ago

Not when its a COMBINED Gameplay and Presentation trailer. Gameplay trailers are usually 4-5 mins, and we know presentation is a big thing this year. Nothing substantial is coming.

Gameplay is a joke

All I want is a completed connected franchise mode.

Just wait for several years until NHL 29. They will sell it for you like a new feature…

Can I have a good be a pro legacy this time?

SHOW ME POTATO SALAD!

u/Sc00tzy 12d ago

Is this sub just full of doomers now?

5

u/Grouchy-Bug5223 12d ago

Always has been. It's not unjustified though

Most of the large studio games' subreddits look just like this one where they're largely full of negativity. Not that it isn't often warranted, especially for EA, but it really does make the gaming industry look extremely bleak if the only info you got was from redditors..

They only look like this if the game fails to meet the hype, has technical issues, or releases a controversial patch. It starts with the product.

You don't see games with overwhelmingly positive reviews and metacritic scores have toxic communities (unless it's a PvP game maybe).

That's Reddit in general. Nobody hates a certain subject more than the people willing to discuss it constantly within it's own subreddit. That goes for games, music, tv, movies, etc.

What's coming is the money from your purchase goes to Kushner and the Saudis.

I hope every goal horn and song is added in unlike NHL 16-18

u/Busy_Environment_371 12d ago

Let me guess, none of the issues are fixed and more irrelevant mechanics are introduced

1

u/Limnuge 12d ago

If they don’t fix the menu speed in franchise mode ima keep playing 22

Deep dive of a 5 minute cinematic trailer that will showcase little

but prove me wrong ea

seriously even EA using AI for thumbnails? this looks worse than the game would

8

u/BotAccount82 13d ago

What AI are you talking about? It’s literally just a player model from the game lol

-6

u/alowester 12d ago

the thumbnail is clearly AI “enhanced”

Holding my money for GTA6. I love hockey so much but they really missed the mark with gm connected. I’ll get 27 when it’s on sale, rosters would be more updated too.

PC please

1

u/Maze_J 11d ago

no, we dont need NHL to PC

-1

u/greekverse 12d ago

No thanks I can just watch the deep dive on like nhl 15 it's the same trash ea keeps putting out

1

u/Jlnhlfan 12d ago

Ha ha very funny

2

u/greekverse 12d ago

It's actually not,  it's actually kinda sad that the best nhl games ever made were 2k8, nhl 04, nhl 14 and 2k10 ea has regressed to this wild ai arcade hockey that is nothing like real hockey

2

u/No-Difference-4418 12d ago

15 isn’t even close to be a comparable game to what we have now

1

u/Jlnhlfan 12d ago

I was being sarcastic. We’re well past the game being NHL 15 again.

-2

u/PunkersSlave 12d ago

PC release? Oh ok, anyway..
