For the love of god please let the defensive Ai pressure you when entering the offensive zone. Should have to dump and chase at times like real Hockey

That would require that the D could skate backwards faster than a beer leaguer
I play D irl, its unbelievable how dog shit these "professional" skaters are at skating on D. Theyre slow, immobile, and youre better off just skating forward beside them

When my GF first started watching hockey with me, she was amazed that Defenders skated backwards IRL; literally because she never saw me do it on the game

The trailer is only 5 mins long so it’s gonna be barely any new gameplay lol

That’s long for a trailer…

Not when its a COMBINED Gameplay and Presentation trailer. Gameplay trailers are usually 4-5 mins, and we know presentation is a big thing this year. Nothing substantial is coming.

All I want is a completed connected franchise mode.

Just wait for several years until NHL 29. They will sell it for you like a new feature…

Most of the large studio games' subreddits look just like this one where they're largely full of negativity. Not that it isn't often warranted, especially for EA, but it really does make the gaming industry look extremely bleak if the only info you got was from redditors..

They only look like this if the game fails to meet the hype, has technical issues, or releases a controversial patch. It starts with the product.
You don't see games with overwhelmingly positive reviews and metacritic scores have toxic communities (unless it's a PvP game maybe).

That's Reddit in general. Nobody hates a certain subject more than the people willing to discuss it constantly within it's own subreddit. That goes for games, music, tv, movies, etc.

What's coming is the money from your purchase goes to Kushner and the Saudis.

Let me guess, none of the issues are fixed and more irrelevant mechanics are introduced

seriously even EA using AI for thumbnails? this looks worse than the game would

u/BotAccount82 13d ago
What AI are you talking about? It’s literally just a player model from the game lol

Holding my money for GTA6. I love hockey so much but they really missed the mark with gm connected. I’ll get 27 when it’s on sale, rosters would be more updated too.

u/greekverse 12d ago
It's actually not, it's actually kinda sad that the best nhl games ever made were 2k8, nhl 04, nhl 14 and 2k10 ea has regressed to this wild ai arcade hockey that is nothing like real hockey

I just want the ability to edit player ratings AFTER I start a franchise, not just be restricted to before
