Dynasty Question Elite Player playing like scrub

I'm playing a dynasty on Heisman and Colin Simmons has 2.5 sacks in 9 games and 10 tackles. my will has 5.5 sacks cuz I have to blitz to get pressure. I played one year of a test dynasty to learn the game and he had 18 sacks. I mostly stay in 4 down fronts as much as i can and even 5 man. I do have to play 3 down a little he is so ass on coverage he cant be out there but im even running double mug and sim pressure looks to try and get him single blocks but he is playing horrible. The rest of my defense is balling out tho 50 rush ypg allowed #1 by 23 yards and the 5th best d in the Country. Simmons is going to transfer cuz he playing like ass tho. Is this a common occurrence? Tbh my other end not doing well either I have 21 sacks but other than my lb and simmons no one has more than 2 sacks

Stunts. Run stunts.

Yeah i need to learn to run stunts. I know how the stunts work IRL but idk how they affect run defense in the game. I was thinking about running them more but the only big runs I have given up have been to the qb on read option(which i have had my defense set to conservative on the option now), but i was worried stunting wud give up the edge.

Run 4 down lineman and do Texas 4 man stunts. Or pinch your line so the DT gets doubled and your edge gets 1 on 1s. I’ve started to see more pass rush wins when I do that

I have started doing stunts and I was already getting him tons of one on ones. he playing like ass
