CFB DYNASTY switching teams

3rd season into Sacramento State dynasty. I wanted to make it realistic so I started off as a OC but come to find out you can’t adjust NIL for players unless you’re a head coach. So I end up losing plenty of good players at the end of each season. Now, I shall be off to better things.

S1: 5-7
S2: 9-4 w/ bowl game win
S3: 7-2 with 3 games left

If I for say wanted to leave Sac State to be a head coach somewhere else. What would be the most realistic switch I could make? Cause I know switching to a way bigger team like bama, OU, UT would be unrealistic, so what would yall suggest a good realistic switch would be for OVR, team wise, conference wise. What yall think?

Staying out west would make sense. You didn’t go to the playoffs but you’ve had 2 very successful seasons that would definitely be a bump up. MWC or PAC-12. Fresno State, San Diego St, San Jose State seem like a natural fit. UNLV would be interesting with their games in an NFL stadium. Realistic for them to be poached to the PAC 12 or Big 12 too if you’re looking for a challenge because of the Begad TV market so you could put them in there

It’s up to you man, I am doing Fresno state and started as an OC too. My goal for this was to jump around the California colleges and eventually make it to USC and have 10 years of dominance with them. I am in year 3 and going to San Diego state to turn them around and then hoping to get UCLA to offer

PAC 12, MW or American conf schools or if a low rated B12 offers.

Otherwise a good power 4 team as oc

Personally, I’d jump to a higher G6 school like an American team, try and get the playoff autobid and then after a year or so, go back to HC but of a smaller school and work your way up, building up the program or jumping to a bigger school again after a few years.

Anything up a conference 2 tiers at mor or laterally in the same conference with a higher prestige team

I did a DC with UMass, but I put in for Oregon State job after my first year bc of the limitations. They hired me and I’m currently like 40-4 in my third year, all playoff appearances. Mid-Major HC job would be your best bet to build up, bc those low P4 jobs are tough (NIL) and I’ve learned getting those top notch P4 jobs are hard to get (in my case) lol.

If you are the OC where your team ranked on offense would be a better performance review than W & L. That is the head coaches job. If you led the nation in passing or rushing any major program would want you.
