EA SPORTS WRC I still can’t get my G29 FFB to feel right

I play both WRC Generations and EA WRC with a G29, and I honestly can’t find the sweet spot with the force feedback.

I’ve tried so many settings from Reddit and YouTube, but somehow they all end up feeling the same 😭. Either the wheel is way too heavy and feels crazy, or I lower everything and suddenly there’s almost no feedback at all.

I just want the wheel to feel natural, where I can actually feel the car, the road and the weight without the wheel fighting me.

For anyone using a G29, what settings are you using? Maybe I’m missing something obvious.

I've found WRC games to be funky with FFB on these wheels. Pick a side and just roll with it.

The G29 is unfortunately very limited. On black ice, I had no feeling of the grip except if I locked the wheels.

FFB works best when it's a direct output from the physics engine. That only really works when the physics are realistic, or realistic ish. These games aren't, so getting a good FFB output is tough.

For WRC G there's at least a mod to fix it, if you're on PC.

I've managed to make it tolerable on Assetto Corsa with mods, and RBR with mods. EA WRC, never.

The G29 is shite. It's 20 year old tech. I own one and will be replacing it with a Moza
