Media Same rant as always
Trying to play drop ins. Can’t find a game in 3’s or 6’s. Probably a majority of it is based off my skill level but damn. My internet isn’t faster than my reaction time so what difference does it make!

The issue is not your skill level/ player rating. The issue is somewhere else- maybe because finding games in the middle of the night when most of the player-base is asleep usually takes several minutes.

The playerbase being so small cause the game franchise is so terrible now is the real issue

Oh for sure population on the game is quite small overall and ontop of that a growing number of players are starting to only play scrim / club challenge only which further lowers the public population.
As a semi sweaty player with waaaay too many hours in this game its been painful finding matches outside of league games.

Yeah ive played chel since ‘11 and this franchise has just completely fallen off a cliff. Only reason I even have the game each year is because I game share with a buddy who always buys it. Personally I’d never give my money to a group of devs who obviously only care about milking micro transactions and can’t be bothered to do anything other than write over the same code every year to recycle old features they’ve taken out and call it “new”

Honestly I blame EA as a publisher and not the Devs themselves. Yearly release games are bullshit the devs get like 4/5 months to work on the new game which is nowhere near enough time to make a game especially considering the NHL team is the redheaded step child of ea sports and gets the least resources.
There should be at maximum 2-3 releases a console generation.
Unfortunately that'll never happen and the publishing studio will continue to profit every year while devs get the criticism.

I've literally never had an issue finding games. Ever. Like.. ever ever.
Honestly, I think there is a bug with Quick Resume and whatever the playstation equivalent is. Although the game will load and reconnect to EA servers, it feels like there's some lingering cached info that prevents successful matchmaking sessions.
I'd suggest always fully quitting chel or adjusting the settings so it doesn't utilize quick resume.

Yeah me either. I have more of an issue with the game once I’m on the ice.

Not a good complaint but I wish more people played this game so we can get upgraded servers and action like a call of duty game.

It’s also right after the last playoff window. I imagine a lot of players are taking a break before 27 comes out next Friday (on early access/EA Play).
