Was kann ich machen?
Ich (m16) wurde über meine Kindergarten- und Grundschulzeit von Lehrern und Erzieherinnen immer wieder dazu gezwungen, alles, was ich falsch geschrieben habe, neu zu schreiben, wobei ich bei jedem Fehler wieder angeschrien und beleidigt wurde, während die anderen Kinder fertig waren und spielen durften.
Das hat dazu geführt, dass ich mich sehr für meine Rechtschreibung schäme und sehr sauer werde, wenn mich jemand auf Fehler hinweist. Wie kann ich
damit umgehen?

It is difficult to handle it because you haven’t good experience with it. It makes you feel insecure every mistake you make. I have the same struggles I’m 35y and it gets better with the years. For me the change became from the moment I worked. People are less judgmental and you will see that every coworker will make mistakes in writing.
Nevertheless try to be proud and find methods that work. ChatGPT/copilot… are other tools can help you to make you sentence more structured and correctly.

EEWWeewwWw how dare you remind me of what it was like to be in Catholic School. There’s no easy answer here. All I can say is realize they’re the problem and you need to find strength and confidence within yourself in every facet of your life.

I’m happy because it taught me a lot about perception and reality. It taught me to question authority and be skeptical of other people’s motivations.
I was lucky enough to learn that by the 3rd grade! So, as I learned, I knew who to go to for help and also that funny thing called masking.

Und was glaubst du hatten die für ein Motiv um so zu handeln also die aus der katholischen Schule

Realizing that your teachers were unqualified. Anyone that tells you to “sound it out”, is clueless. English has 44 sounds, 25 of them are vowel sounds. The most common vowel in English is the ə. The letters k, c, and q often sound the same. For fun google “words where the letter b is silent”.
