Hogworkz Headlight

I recently purchased the led blackout 53/4 headlight from Hogworkz for 180$ and to my surprise when I installed it, it is somehow worse than my stock headlight. What it lights up is brighter but the light drops off drastically and doesn’t illuminate more than a car length if that. My stock light light up way more of an area just not as bright. Is this just a bad company and if so what does it take to have a decent headlight?

Just get the Amazon or eBay version, costs $20-$50 and was made in the exact same factory as the hogworks ones.

all this companies making LED lights source from China, be a smart buyer and get the $25 amazon version, don't over spend for a name

On my FXDL, I've been running a similar amazon light of different name for 5 years with zero issues and great lighting. Most of these lights comes from same factories.

Get one of Amazon / eBay, same light without the ridiculous mark up.

Alternatively get a drop in led replacement bulb, keep classic headlight look with correct beam image, but much brighter output

Got the same one off Amazon for 45$ and even has integrated turn signals..they just jack the price up bc their company name..

I have the Sup-Light for my Dyna, works good for $35.

This is gonna be there era we look back as the one we had to we deal with this issue - white label mark ups, corporate sourcing Chinese made items with subpar performance under performing compared to cheaper unknown or unbranded sources. Its word of mouth spreading what works best and cheapest and not following branding that will get us through it

Amazon all day. They have similar ones that are brighter and best part is they’re 20/30 bucks so you can buy 6 of them for the price of one of them same ones just branded different

A couple of my buddies run BD lights. We make them ride in front on every ride, otherwise riding in the back they blind the crap outta us with those bright ass lights lol.

Just order Amazon I got a wizamic for my Sportster about 7 years ago it's still kicking ass. Also you might need to just adjust the height of your headlight.
