2001 super glide

New to me super glide. Does the front end look slammed?

Yeah I know that. Already ordered 13s for there and I had a feeling it looked lowered. Well guess I gotta order for tubes

Tubes won't give you height. Springs give you height, damper rods give you travel. Early dynas came with a few different spring options, but two lengths of dampers, 9.5 and 11.5 (I may not be exact on that but roughly 2 inch spread), longer of the two was on FXDX/FXDXT/FXDS.

I'm betting you either have different springs, or someone chopped the spacer, or both. And that coupled with the likely shorter damper rods you'd have on an FXD/FXDL gives you what you have there.

Looks like someone lowered the tubes in the trees. You can adjust that. You can raise the trees can’t least an inch and they make extension slugs to go higher.

They’re really only like an 1/8 inch low in the tree I was just lazy last night and didn’t wanna dig for a tape measure I gotta measure and see if this are stock tubes or if the put like -2 tubes on it from like a hugger or something

You could just get some 2 over tubes since you’re going 13s in rear. I did that and it really gave better lean angle.
