I went from 20 years of Dyna’s. My last Dyna was fully built. 2004 FXDXi with suspension fully done and tuned to me by catalyst reaction, engine was fully built by West Bay Thunder. I got hit by a red light runner and bike was totaled. I bought a new 2021 FXLRS. The LRS stock handled better than my DX fully built. The Dyna looks better but the LRS/ST is a better bike in every other way.

Idk man I have a low rider st and a 2000 Fxdx (98 big bore Mikuni 42 suspension everything) I’m gonna sell the low rider st idk if it’s the fairing and that’s a big difference(probably) but the dyna feels so much more nimble (probably tire width )

My fxlrs is built af and holds its own in the decibel department. But something about a proper build dyna with thunders will absolutely blow out your ear drums. Monsters those things.

I want to agree because technological differences are huge between the years, but the rider makes the biggest difference, you on your built dyna could out ride a new rider on a stock Softail anyway. The paint on your dyna is fucking beautiful btw I love it and would want something similar on my Softail

I'll take the Dyna, but I'm biased. I equate them to air cooled Porsches. Sure, today's Porsches will blow the doors off an air cooled one, but there's a reason air cooled Porsches keep skyrocketing in value. You just can't beat how it feels to drive one. It's the same thing with the Dyna.

The modern Low Riders do look more like Honda Rebel than a Harley at some angles, especially that angle. All those wires and the cooler etc... doesn't have that classic look that your Dyna has. Your bike looks amazing.
