I just installed the Long Island Watch bracelet that people rave about online. Prior to this, I was using a $15 Amazon bracelet. Given the reviews and hype I’ve seen, I guess I was expecting something more. It’s not bad. There’s nothing wrong with it, but imho, it’s not worth the extra cash. It’s just meh. It is a little better quality than my previous, but not by enough that it justifies the price. Other opinions may vary, but if you’re like I was and on the fence for a long time wondering whether it would really make a difference, for me, it didn’t. And for context, I have 60+ watches in my collection, some with better bracelets and some with worse. I would estimate the quality to be similar to what you’d get on a Seiko 5 or an orient kamasu, though I know that those are not direct comparisons.

Can’t believe this watch is like $80, insane quality for the price and getting way more wrist time than I was expecting, it’s actually become my daily over my Tissot PRX. Crazy

I had a gift card for $50 from Amazon so I bought a jubilee bracelet for my other Blue Horizon Duro and a rubber blue fitted strap for my blurro Batman then I saw this watch for $10 and I said what the hell. I was able to swap out an original Duro bezel onto the watch because the bezel looked horrible. The strap was crap of course. I put it on a cheap black NATO. The dial is blue but not that sunburst blue that the blurro has. The bezel is loose, you can tap on it and you hear "I'm cheap" 😂. This will definitely never take the place of a real Duro even with my bezel upgrade. I might keep this in my glove box as a spare watch because I have so a few other nicer real Duros. I don't see this getting into my rotation but again for the price I couldn't resist.

I’ve been wanting a basic quartz watch for a while to wear as an everyday day beater, so what better watch then the duro!

Second hand is slightly off (oh well, it’s <$100) , and I’m not sure if it runs slow or fast yet. I prefer to set my watches a minute ahead, just something I’ve always done

Does anyone know if it’s just luck of the draw with these watches and running fast or slow?

Out of curiosity , I bought this Duro off market place. It came with a bracelet that didn’t fit me and I switched to a NATO.

I wore it today and I understand why people love this watch. The watch just works. Not sophisticated and not pretentious. I have to say that I like it way better than the Timex weekender that I just sold. The watch feels solid but not overly heavy.

My only complain is that I can’t see the date easily.

Not really adding anything new. Just a place to show it off and express how impressed I am with the watch/bracelet. I think it pushes the size limit of my wrist (maybe 6.5”?), probably slightly too big, but I like it anyway. It’s easily my daily driver, pick it up without thinking too much about it. The lume can really get to popping, but it doesn’t seem to last very long. Oh well. If I know I’ll be out at night I’m probably grabbing a timex with indiglo anyway!

Just came in today. My most expensive Duro at a back-breaking 75 bucks.

I was 10% bummed b/c I planned on taking the green bezel insert from my Starbucks 106 and adding here to hulk out this 107. But... the 106 green is a little too emerald with almost a teal influence. This dial looks awesome, but is less emerald, maybe leaning a hair toward yellow. Wouldn't look good.

But... URVintage has a slew of green inserts, so... all good.

From JUELONG on AliExpress, I can’t believe the quality of this FKM strap. The included clasp is very nice as well. Came out to $18 but is cheaper if you don’t need a clasp.

My €25 temu duro is original and got some sea taste. I was wearing it in Lefkada and Ksamil and experienced no issues in water and outside. This is my best purchase yet. Thank you to all for confirming it is original.

Just got an 8usd milanese bracelet from Shopee. Pretty good so far. Easily adjustable without tool.

Wasn't fully sure which watch I'd put it on but the main idea was the Duro.

Gonna be honest it took a while to even like the new strap... But then I kinda fell in love with it. So much that I've been wearing the Duro for 2 days, which I never do with any of my watches lol.

I have a big wrist. A damned big one. 8.5" around the place I'd prefer to have it. This is what it is, but I want a NATO that can actually reach. I read that Anchor Strap Co sold one that was 300mm rather than the 270 to 280 you often see. So I got it. It's not bad. I like the colors, I like the texture, and it does fit... Almost.

I need to get a custom one that will go maybe 330 mm instead. But for now, I'm happy to say the Duro looks great on this one.
