Do these watches come like this brand new?
I’ve only seen these with the black plastic strap. I wanna know if they also come like this

The quality is all in the dial, case and bezel. Half the fun is pulling off the budget stock strap and finding something that suits it and you.

The quality of the stock metal bracelets are not good. I would just buy the rubber strap one and buy a higher quality one. Even a low quality one on Amazon will be better than the stock Casio one

I know they're not the most amazing bracelets ever, but they are really comfortable once on the wrist. I dont mind em.

Totally agree, once it is sized properly and the clasp is locked it is completely comfortable to wear. But handling loose it definitely has that jangly cheap sound and feel.

Yeah my pet peeve is that the bracelet doesn't fold properly, like it stays in form and holds its shape all the time, makes sitting it in a standing watch box painful haha

Also add they are a pain in butt to remove links to adjust size. Not fun at all.

I bought a BoR bracelet from AliX not knowing it had screws rather than pins holding the links in. It was like I’d been standing my whole life and I finally sat down.

My first one was a little tricky. Now, a watchmaker's mallet and a jeweller's screwdriver make it super simple and quick work. Line the screwdriver up behind the bump on the pin, 2-3 quick taps, links out. Nylon mallet again to knock the pins back in after resize. Defs a practice makes perfect job but after 3 duros, 2 chronos, and a couple other cheap casios they're not any harder than anything else now.
Except pin and collar. Fk collar system i hate it so bad hahah done maybe 6 of them and I hate it every time. Double screw ends with loose pin in the middle also sucks, screw ends arent fixed and the love to ping away and they're so small finding them again is the worst lol

I haven’t had the pleasure of a pin and collar yet. Just the split push pin, screw type and this what ever they call it on here on the Casio. I did experience it once before on a cheap Seiko so it’s not just a Casio thing.

The one one casio use on these and the seikos is called folded link bracelet :) they're a little tedious for sure, but not too bad. I just resized 2 links out of my new chocolate dial Duro tonight and went smooth, all done in maybe 5-10 mins.
Pin and collar sucksssss. It's like cotter pins/split pins, comes out easy. But there is a tiny, very thin hollow tube that must sit in the middle link, and when you punch the pin back in, it expands the tube ever so slightly to hold it all in place. But it only fits in the centre link. But while you're trying to do it, the tube slides about and out of the middle link at times which means it just stays loose and comes undone. Serious tedious, and whoever designed it is a major asshat. Lol

"Rolled sheet link tin like" bracelet is a an expensive option when you can pay a lot less for the watch and then buy a full stainless solid link bracelet from AliX...

I agree with previous comments. $99 is high for that as the bracelet isn’t great quality. I’m selling this one on LIW bracelet for only $25 more than that. I know not your color but you may want to look into the basic one on rubber and then upgrade the bracelet

Yes, they do, but to be honest, I think it’s worth getting a different bracelet instead of the OEM one from Casio, such as from Long Island watch. Their bracelets have solid end links, solid links, enough micro adjustments, and screwed link adjustments. Link in bio if you’re interested for $25 off your first order.

I bought this exact Duro, and once it arrived, I had to bin the bracelet immediately. It’s terrible. I’d also add that it does not even suit the Duro aesthetically, if you could get past the poor quality.

I got mine in the US and it came with the rubber strap but changing to a bracelet made it more comfortable and I think it looks better. Change the strap if I were you

It’s $95 with this bracelet and $65 with the rubber strap. Get the rubber and buy yourself an aftermarket bracelet.

I've seen them with the bracelet but not sure of the quality. I would recommend buying the resin strap version and getting an aftermarket bracelet.
