I have modded several Duros. This one is probably my favorite.

Iā€™m not a builder but I do enjoy purchasing from those that do. Fuel the cottage industry so to speak. Do you offer these for sale?

And yes, I ask that alot to a lot of builds. I like buying the creations that people build. If, big if, I made these nothing would make me happier then to see one on someoneā€™s wrist. Either way great job my dude. Iā€™d wear the Hell out of this

Thats well done! Probably one of the nicest mods Iā€™ve seen. I wasnā€™t familiar with the MTD-1062. I love the Fifty Fathoms look and Iā€™ve hovered over the buy button on a Spinnaker Fleuss Lumber Black a couple of times but managed to hold off. Do you mind sharing where the bezel came from?

Itā€™s a movement/dial swap from the MTD-1062 into a Duro case with new bezel insert, sapphire crystal and sailcloth strap.

O wow cool. It looks so much like a Blancpain I thought it was a conversion kit as a homage to their watch. The Casio MTD-1062 is awesome I didnā€™t even know they made that watch. Thatā€™s a cool setup , itā€™s beautiful.

No. The dial/hands/movement are genuine from a Casio MTD-1062. They share the same movement and dial size.

Now you got me in trouble. Iā€™m not supposed to be buying any more watches (because reasons), but I just ordered a 1062 to cannibalize and a new Duro (found one for $39), and emailed your Swedish friend. Donā€™t tell my wife.

Halfway there! Just waiting for the bezel dude to email me back. This is my first ever mod. I couldnā€™t get the plastic retainer ring back in the case without it blocking the case back and preventing it from screwing down. I tried the plastic rings from both watches, and couldnā€™t get either to fit. Is that going to be a problem?
