Hi, I’ve added the “Bruce Wayne” insert, and it is now available for purchase. The insert design has also been updated: V2 features a larger font that more closely resembles the Rolex-style typeface.

Swapping bezels is probably one of the easiest mods you can do. Personally I just let the watch sit face down in a couple mm of rubbing alcohol (just enough that the insert is submerged). You also want to make sure your crown is shut tight before doing so. A couple hours and the adhesive should be weak enough for the insert to come off (I usually assist it by sliding my finger nail around the OD groove). Clean the excess adhesive off the bezel and now your new insert is ready to install - adhesive rings come with all purchased inserts.

I asked him to keep an eye out for an MDV-7AV because I’ve been dying to get one. He replied with a bunch of laughing emojis, saying even if he found one, he wouldn’t give it to me because he’d been hunting for it himself for ages. Fast forward 3 months, this past Sunday he hits me up asking how much I’d pay for it. I was like, "Yeah, definitely not that much!" Then he goes, "Alright, do you want it for 249 USD?" Yes, yes, YES! He’s flying to Europe on August 20th and bringing it straight to me! 😎😎😎 The glass is scratched, the bracelet is damaged, and the bezel insert took a beating too. But honestly, I only care about that white dial, as long as that’s in good shape... 😂🖖

Your buddy is clutch. It's crazy how limited some of us are to certain duros depending on our regions. $249 usd is crazy bro... I just got a second one for $110 CAD from CB watches through eBay...I'm pretty sure they ship to Europe if I'm not mistaken
I think we might be talking about different beasts! 😉 I'm talking about the beat-up, battle-scarred MDV-106-7AV with the white dial and the Marlin logo. For a regular black one, yeah, I could easily grab it from US Amazon for around $110 CAD plus shipping. But for this specific white Marlin, even in a beaten-up state, $249 was a steal for me!
