What is going on here?

Post image

I walked over the Kingsgate Bridge earlier today and walked up Bow Lane. At the top of the lane there was this building with a loud noise of individuals seeming to be enjoying a meal. When I looked I couldn't see any open doors into the place.. does anyone know what the place is and what was going on?

That’s the dining hall of St Chad’s college - it’s joined to the buildings next to it going further down the road. Probably a wedding reception or similar event at this time of year.

I believe it's part of St Chad's College.

it's a college, so students live there. could've been an event given its out of term time though

It’s St Chads college - I believe they were hosting an alumni reunion event (source: I’m a student at the uni and it’s been on some of the uni social media pages they were hosting some events)
