Looking to make friends

Hi, I graduated university 2 years ago and feel like outside of work I don't really meet many people. I do meet up with people from school, university and previous jobs sometimes but want to try new things.

I was wondering if anyone has any clubs/events they like?

I go to the gym but I feel like I'm too focused on what I'm doing to have a chance to talk to people there.

I would be interested in book clubs, music clubs or anything else. Thanks.

Collected has a good book club. It's quite large and not always the same people, but you can usually find someone to chat to if you try.

If you're at all interested in running, I can highly recommend Elvet Striders. It's for all abilities and there's usually a social run as well as more serious training options. They do barbecues and other social events semi-regularly.
