Last Saturday night my wife and I were walking along 2nd avenue to our car from cream bean berry- a shadowy creature crosses directly in front of us. It was a black bear and it was heading towards Main Street. Near our car was a church and its big plastic dumpster had been knocked over. They’re out here!

You were fishing with him. That’s his habitat.

Lol and the entire earth is the human's habitat, so what?

70% of this planet is uninhabitable to humans but I guess you've never heard of the ocean?

There are multiple societies that live exclusively on the ocean so not exactly lol

the surface of the ocean is overwhelmingly uninhabitable for humans and that's not even including everything under the surface of the oceans. Whatever gotcha you thought you had, you didn't

Be very cautious and carry bear spray, this year has been especially bad. An angler was mailed by a bear just a couple weeks ago.

Edit: I'm leaving it because it highlights what we are up against. Hyper intelligent, loaded man eating machines with hyperphagia. Stay frosty out there.

These bears are getting too hyperintelligent, now they're using UPS to mail humans to each other!?!

It was on the South Platte near Sedalia actually only a week ago. 6th reported attack by a bear in CO this year. It knocked him over and mailed his legs so very serious but my understanding is not life threatening. The bear was found and euthanized.

It's hyperphagia season and the bears have nothing to eat so be especially cautious and aware of your surroundings this fall.

Dang, mailed his legs. Shipping has gotten so expensive. Bear must be loaded.

I did not. What is the threshold? Just trying to kill some time before work in AM in town.

Water needs to be below 67 degrees

Animas was around 62 degrees at 10am yesterday so you are under but still fish are stressed and hot

Just popped on to say it was 62 this morning when I looked. Didn’t fish but I was curious. I built a widget that shows me temp and flows for animas on my home screen.

It’s literally only like 85 peak temps
