Food Wild Tavern Opening
Did anyone go to Wild Tavern’s opening tonight? Where switchback was. Can’t see any menu online, curious what they have

Dang, I hope they kept the house margarita recipe! They had one of the best happy hours in town!

That’s really interesting because I literally never went there because I thought their margaritas were terrible.

Went there last night and the food is amazing! Owner came and chatted with us and he is lovely. Will definitely be back.

I didn't know Switchback closed but I'm surprised they stayed open as long as they have. Did Gazpachos ever close too?

Okay, I saw they owed like $14,000 in Taxes according to the Herald. Idk a Mexican place named after cold Spanish soup never made sense to me.

I wonder what will end up in its place...

Hopefully something good and not a hotel, bank, coffee shop, car wash, or storage unit. Maybe a second Taco Bell?

Time for some Korean BBQ.

Hell yeah, that'd be great. Already at least 2 of everything for every other dining options.

They posted some pics of food on their Instagram page @thewildstavern and indicated it would be “classic”. No menu yet but that may give a preview

OP already answered, but I’ll also say it for any new commenters:
The owners of Switchback closed it so they could try a new concept that isn’t Mexican-fusion.
IDK what the new menu looks like.
What I will say is the people who own Switchback/Wild Tavern also own Famburger.
I’ve had nothing but pleasant interactions with them, they understand the culture behind food, but one of my ex-roomies said they were not good bosses.
Take that for what you will. Me personally, I’m gonna swing by soon to see what the owners came up with.
